We've been expecting this, but we were hoping that the two units that are vacant would have been rented and earning money before we had to shell out more cash for a remodeling.

Has there been any interest in the open units or is renting there on a decline?

If you want to be the popular one at a party, here's a good thing to do: Go up to some people who are talking and laughing and say, "Well, technically, that's illegal." It might fit with what somebody just said. And even if it doesn't, so what, I hate this stupid party.

BTW - I saw my neighbour at the weekend. Haven't seen him for about a month. He's had some sort of cancer on his head....apparently the best kind of cancer to get. It was picked up early and he had an operation about 2 weeks ago. He let me take a picture of his skull because he hasn't seen it.

We don't even have the signs out yet. :sad 2: Neither unit is ready yet. However, rentals have picked up here, but both of the units are gorgeous. Completely remodeled with granite countertops, tile floors. In her father's place we took out the carpeting and restored the hardwood floors. It looks great and only has a few more finishing touches.
