We went up to the valley today and I could see the smoke. There was also a fire in Glendale on our way home. Not good that fires are already starting.

I'll just stay inside and be LAST!

Saw that on the news. Hopefully, they get the fires out soon or it rains like they are hoping.

Finally got to see the news. How far from you are the fires Alison

The fires are on the south end of Ventura County which borders LA County. It's a very large county. We are on the South end of LA County which borders Orange County. Driving time without traffic is about 1 1/2 hours, in reality it's about 2-3 hours.

Even with driving to the Valley today which is still about 1/2 an hour to 45 minutes from Ventura county, we could see the smoke from the fires, but weren't anywhere near that.
