And how is the computer?
Sorry about your computer. I have a feeling my laptop will be dying soon. I will not replace it though, since my iPad works fine for most things and I still have the desktop for others.
We are doing well. No one is sick (cannot wait until the kids are older and stop bringing home sickness all the time). Cheap comes home from his business trip tonight, so that makes me happy.

I completely missed you sneaking in!
How are you? I've missed you.![]()
I'm okay. Mundane life seems very pleasant right now compared to what is happening in Boston.
What about you? I hear wild weather and flooding in Chicago....are you okay?
And how is the computer?
Same-sex marriage debate is an on-again, off-again debate in Australia too. This week, it had some press coverage because New Zealand just passed the law through their Parliament to make it legal.
Our current politicians are incredibly conservative! 65% of the Australian population are happy to recognise same-sex marriage and would like it to be legal. Sadly, both sides of politics over here do not.![]()
Not only is he Crap....but he's Cheap as well???

I need to replace mine, but I won't be able to for at least a year. I just can't afford it. I'm glad you guys are doing well
That's the point of sneaking inI've been all right, weather and computer issues aside. Just working and all that.
Yeah, no kidding. A friend of a friend of a friend is the uncle of the 8 year old who died in the bombing. Another friend was visiting Boston at the time and when I found out what happened, I texted her and asked if she was okay. She was nowhere near it, thank the FSM.
The weather has been insane. I have pics of the flooding in my neighborhood, but they're on my iPod, which is upstairs. The streets north of us were completely impassable. We didn't have any water in the basement, though, so that's a good thing.
The computer seems to be fixed now. It's been giving me trouble for a few weeks, but I finally got it sorted out today.
WOW!! So sorry for your friend of a friend of a friend is the uncle of the 8 year old who died in the bombing. That is every parent's worst nightmare!
Hope your computer IS sorted.
I hope that your neighbourhood is okay. I'm glad you checked in. Been really wondering how you are.
Yeah, no kidding. I can't imagine something that awful happening to my niece.

That was actually one block over and one block north. We're a block and a half south of the river. You can't tell in that pic, but there are about four or five cars underwater further down the street. The reason that street dead ends is because of the river.
It appealed to my sense of humour.
I really need to plan a trip to visit Chicago one of these years! Would love to see that street (and maybe gatecrash for one of your cakes!)
Quite honestly, that's why I framed the picture the way I did
Yes, you do! I wish I could send you guys a cake through the mail or something, but I don't think it would survive the journey. Did I tell you that the program I'm gonna enroll in has an entire six-week class just on bread? I think I did...
I don't start school until January, so I think that class will be sometime over the summer. Not sure, though. If I get into the DCP for my externship, I'll be down in Orlando for the last three months of 2015.
