Its taken a while but we are leaving for DLP in a matter of days (Tuesday morning at 3.00AM to be exact :scared1: )

So the weather is going to be rubbish apparantly but I dont care!

What does everyone expect the crowds to be like next week? Im thinking really busy!

Anyone else going this week?:cool1:
 
after doing some research into school holiday timings, i'm expecting quite a quiet week - pretty much the whole of europe is still in school along with quite a bit of the UK!

rubbish weather is not gonna be fun, though it doesn't look too bad :-)

I'm setting off 11.30pm tomorrow to catch the Eurostar on sunday, staying til thursday :-)

I hope you are right!

Also weather wise Im not too fussed,we can still enjoy no matter what.

Last week they had next wednesday down as being sunny! So you never know it might change again
 
The school holidays in the UK are all over the place, with some on holiday now, some starting next week. I think Belgium & German schools are off next week & many Belgians visit.

I would go expecting it to be busy that way if it isn't then its a great surprise.
 

this is my first time not going right in the middle of august, so anything will be quiet compared to that!

i've heard that towards the beginning of the week it always seems to be quieter anyway, whether its school holiday time or not, but I don't know the authenticity of that claim! lol

Leaving for the train station in roughly 9 and a bit hours, so packing is a priority :-)

Staying at Santa Fe til thursday - its all me and my friend can afford, student loans won't cover anything more :-P

LOL im living on my student load aswell.

The annoying thing is that my loan goes through the monday AFTER we come back!

We are going tuesday back friday, staying at the explorers

you'll know me if you see me - i don't suppose there'll be many people with bleached/turquoise/pink bits in their hair! if you see us, say hi :-)

the overdraft is looming.... but already got all my euros on a travel money card from the post office - a great way to try and stick to my budget!
 
We are going Monday to Friday next week, staying at Holiday Inn :banana: Just sorting packing out now, and checking on here for any last minute tips. Hope Lucy's weather forecast is right, but taking spare shoes and lots of extra socks just in case. Last year, our feet were squelching in our trainers one day because it rained so much :rotfl:
