I am so glad I found your trip report. (and had a blast reading it from the beginning!)

We sort of met at the dessert party - I was the woman sitting behind you and am from Purcellville, VA.

BTW, the Hulk was well aware he blocked your view. When you commented on his rudeness, he looked over his shoulder - and didn't budge an inch! He was tall enough to have recorded the show from anywhere behind those at the rail, but obviously just didn't care. The really sad part is he moved in front of you just as Tinkerbell flew down to us. (From where we were sitting, it looked as if Tink was coming right to us.) For me, this was very special. Although I have been to MK dozens of times, and knew this happened, I had never before seen Tinkerbell make the flight.

Great updates-I enjoyed living vicariously through your tastings......hmmm makes me want to go down and check out if we have any interesting bottles...there is a rather nice looking bottle of prosecco I've been eyeing but I'm going to wait for Eric...

Interesting info about the lounge next to Yachtsman-nice to know you can have a good steak in there as well...

Was very interested in your review on Cat Cora-I thought breakfast sounded good on the menu...and your review bears that out-except for the bacon... I'm picky on bacon too-Neiman Ranch makes a nice product...we don't have it all that often but when we do...I want it to be worth it...but the eggs and toast and sangria...look great...

I'm sorry about the jerk at the Wishes Party-I sometimes wish I had a tazer (I don't) (Eric always knows I'm in a bad mood when I start talking about the tazer...) to just zap some of these people who are in their own world where they don't have to follow the normal rules and behaviors that the rest of us do...I would just give them a good ZAP...

Something similar happened to us at CSR, I didn't really give it much thought, but at 8:30, we had a knock on our door. I didn't think to put the "Do not disturb" sign out because, well, it was 8:30! I didn't think much of it, but I won't be happy if they do it again this trip. If it's a new policy, I'll say something, that's for sure!

(Ours at CSR didn't try to negotiate with us though. Perhaps because I had an "you're cutting into my Disney time woman" expression on! )

Hope you enjoy your last day Elin, sorry about mousekeeping. I always put the "Do not disturb" sign on our door. I would be a very unhappy camper if they came knocking at my door that early!

HI, KARIN!!!! I am sitting here with goosebumps!!! How fun that you found me on on here... It is like looking for a needle in a haystack. We did have perfect seats, didn't we? And the three tables of us did a fine job of covering for one another. But The Hulk would have been hard to move I think... even if we had all pitched in.

You live close enough that we ought to think about getting together at some point. When a bunch of us DISers put together another meet I will let you know and you can join if you wish.

I am glad you finally got to see Tink fly! I saw her, but she is not on my video, sadly. Stupid big man.

We did have a fabulous meal at FF. We had a good last day at F&W. Our trip home was relatively easy, but we didn't get home until after 11:30 last night. I know I owe you all an update, but I had to teach today. I promise either later tonight or tomorrow. I did spend this morning uploading all the pictures to PhotoBucket so it ought to be fairly easy.

Thanks for staying with us for the whole trip, everyone. It is a nice feeling.

I am glad you enjoyed taking our vacation with us! You will love tTis area. Lots to do here. And the King Estates? Unless you dislike whites, give their Pinot Gris a try. It was really good!

I do like whites, I'm just really picky about them. I have had the pinot gris, it's nice but I don't love it. then again I don't love Pinot Gris so it isn't a King Estates issue at all

I can't believe you had the do not disturb sign up and that still happened. Glad you didn't tip!

We decided to get dressed up a bit and went on over to Flying Fish for our 9:40 reservation.

What a lovely restaurant! We have never eaten there before, so I took lots of pictures…

We were the last ones to be seated that evening, so there was no big surprise that they were out of the Chef’s Thunder that night (swordfish). We still had lots to choose from and opted to not have an appetizer since we wanted dessert. Bob chose the Signature Char-crusted New York Strip Steak with Fingerling Potatoes, Pole Beans, and Rainbow Carrots. Served with classic Foyot Sauce:

I chose the Oak-grilled North Atlantic Bay of Fundy Salmon with Applewood-smoked Lardon and Fall Vegetable-studded Lentil du Puy Stew with Citrus Aioli.

Bob’s beverage of choice was a Sam Adams Lager and I chose their Pinot Noir Flight. At $20 I thought the 3 offerings of 2-ounce pours was very reasonable! My favorite was the Testarossa, which was the Pinot Noir that had been suggeated as a pairing.

Our service from Joey was prompt, careful and VERY friendly! The meal was one of the best we have ever had on WDW property. We liked it a LOT! Bob did order his steak too well-done and asked me to remind him to ask for medium, not medium well from now on. I always do, but he usually argues with me!

For dessert we chose two different things. Bob had their Starbucks Dozer after-dinner coffee. It was full of liquers!

And I chose the Deep Dish Apple Tart with Gingersnap-Salted Pecan Crust and Cinnamon Ice Cream, and a glass of Cointreau Noir, which was new to me. It is a blend of Cointreau liqueur and Remy Martin cognac.:

We slowly walked on the BoardWalk to return to the BCV, and decided to take the boat across. This was a wonderful evening to end our trip!

As we walked past Martha’s Vineyard we noticed that it was still empty and no one was in there except the bartender. It wasn’t Chad, but we stopped anyway for a nightcap. Another SA for myBob and a Tawny Port for me. As we left we took a few pictures of Ariel’s. It appeared to have been used that evening for a special event! And then it was time for bed!

Tomorrow is our last day…

I know this sounds crazy but after doing wine seminars maybe you can answer this for me. I like reislings what is the difference between that and other white wines?

On to the good: FF looked & sounded wonderful It's definitely on my list for restaurants to try

Michele - What rieslings do you like? German ones? or those from the US? Dry? Somewhat sweet? There is such a variety of them available it would be difficult to compare other whites to the rieslings unless I know which ones you like!

I liked the Cointreau Noir very much. If you like sipping good brandy you will like the Noir. My description of it to Bob (before I knew what it was, exactly) was it tasted more like cognac than Cointreau. And guess what... I was right!

Ihad every intention of finishing up this report this morning. Instead, I spent the day at the vet with Kristin's best friend. Her parents are gone for the weekend, out of cell phone range. Her beloved chocolate retriever collapsed last night and she had to have him put down today. Kristin had to work and there was no one else to be with Ashley. I couldn't let her be alone. So, my report won't be finished until tomorrow. Poor pup.
