This is actually a two part Pre-Trip/Trip Report, this half will cover the first two days of our trip.

Where: ASMo
When: Oct. 2 & 3, 2012
Who: JennyWren & DH

During the first two days, we will in fact be at the World, despite (or in his opinion--to spite) my husband who has had enough Disney World vacations (again, in his opinion :confused3:confused3).

The second half, which will be covered in the Cruise Line Forum, will cover the last four days. We will be taking a 3-night Bahamian Cruise on the Dream. (See the loopholes, yet?)

1) It's a cruise, it's not Disney World. It's beachy, it's relaxing, it's just what he wanted. Yes, it's still Disney--but what is marriage without compromise..:p

2) "Sweetie, if we fly down two days sooner, we can cut our airfare costs in half and enjoy a couple extra days of alone time, we can just rent a car."

3) The Disney Gods then smiled on me and sent me a pin code that led to ASMo for $66/night + tax..."Well, I don't think we could get a hotel cheaper, sweetheart, and it's Disney so we know the rooms will be nice and clean and we wouldn't have to rent a car."

4)Since we are there, we might as well spend two days in the park. "I promise we won't be in the parks all day (;))"

5) "Look at that it's the Food & Wine Festival, won't that be fun?"

So there you go, we are now booked for two nights at ASMo, before the cruise and my DH never saw it coming. Yes, I should be ashamed of myself, but as hard as I try I just can't pull that off...:sad2:

Sounds like he "wants/needs" a Disney vacation and doesn't even know it. What an amazing wife you are to help him! Having a similar husband myself, I can say that husbands like ours should be so thankful for wives who can see that they need more Magic and be willing to "help" them get it :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Thank you, I'm glad you know where I'm coming from with this.:goodvibes I'm only looking out for his best interest, making sure he gets his recommended doses of magic and "vitamin D."

So, I am only two weeks away from being back home and I can hardly contain my excitement. :yay::yay::yay::yay:

Since we are only going to be doing two days at the parks, I've decided to skip spending time in AK and DHS. I think I will be okay with skipping AK, since there isn't a whole lot there that I can't live without. DHS is going to be harder on me, but we are getting PHs so if necessary I can always skip over there for a few hours on Day 2.

As of right now, this is the plan:

Day 1 (Oct. 2)----Our plane arrives at MCO at 9:20a, so I figure we should be in the park by 12-12:30p. First stop will be to Epcot (I was originally going to forego PHs and do a day at MK and a day at Epcot, however after much consideration I decided that they were necessary so I could take full advantage of all the choices that the F&W koisks offer) to have a lunch of various choices from the F&W booths. After eating and drinking our fill, we will hop the monorail over to the MK to finish out the rest of the day.

Day 2 (Oct. 3)----The plan is to spend the whole day at Epcot. However, I'm leaving this day fairly loosely planned, just in case I need a DHS fix or do not feel that I've had enough MK to last me til my next trip.

So, I have officially reach the Pre-Disney Depression stage. You know what I mean...all the planning is done and all that is left to do is waiting. It's so close you can taste the Dole Whip, yet it seems like time is dragging like the wait for Soarin during Christmas break. ::yes::

I'm happy to report that both parts of this trip were terrific. :beach:

Details will be forthcoming, however DS is home today (Columbus Day) so I will be posting Part I tomorrow. :surfweb:
