Hi - I was wondering if someone can help me with the store It's a wrap, which is clothes for different shows, movies. Someone posted in a thread that prices were reasonable. I'm wondering what reasonable is, if it's even worth going out of our way.

This is a trip for our daughter's graduation and she absolutely loves acting, etc., so she would probably love this, but if it's totally out of reach for us normal folk I see no reason to make it part of our trip.

Oh, and I'm also thinking of booking a Starline Tour for us, thinking she would absolutely love it. Input?

Thanks.

Tagging along...I have It's a Wrap on our list of things to do also and would love to hear more about it from someone who has been!

I’m not quite sure what people expect to see there. To me, it’s no different
than any thrift store except they charge more because an actor once wore it.

The do not have iconic costumes - they carry only standard, off the shelf
items that the wardrobe department of a movie or TV show bought too
many of. Your daughter may get a kick out of seeing one of the skirt worn
by one of the girls on “2 Broke Girls” or a pair of jeans worn by someone
on “Parenthood” and being able to buy it. But I can say from experience
that the few items they have that anyone would recognize is selling for
several hundred.

Not saying you shouldn’t go - just don’t expect to walk away with an iconic
piece of acting memorabilia. More likely a blue skirt you could get at the
trift store across the street for $10 that they are selling for $40 because
someone on “Days of Our Lives” wore it for a day or two.

The one in Beverly Hills is quite expensive and does have some nice items -
the one in Burbank is reasonable but other than the tag on it telling you
what show is was bought from, no different than any thrift store.
