It's a World of Laughter a World of Tears A World of Hope & a World of Fears New 2/18

Departure Day plans are always a little sad aren't they? Jeff finished his exams last week and this coming week is our spring break but it's called reading week at the universities....or as Jeff calls it essay writing week:rotfl2:

We have a vacation day tomorrow too in our province! Nothing like a long weekend in February!:thumbsup2

Departure Day is the worst! It always helps though if you know when you're going back and you can start counting down til the next time

Sounds like Jeff is working hard. Good for him! It will all pay off in the long run :thumbsup2

Enjoy your long weekend :goodvibes

Sounds like a great last day you have planned! I am also feeling the stress of midterms! Eastern is a great school, but it's crazy how much work I have sometimes! I still have one more semester until I can get into my actual major work, which I haven't decided yet :( I thought for the longest time I wanted to be a nurse, but I definitely do not want to do that anymore! I'm thinking maybe music or some sort of vacation planning thing; who knows!

Thanks :)
I hope your midterms aren't too hard on you! Declaring a major is really hard. It's very hard to figure out what you want to do for the rest of your life at such a young age. Hopefully by the time you finish your basic coursework you'll have a better idea of what you want to study :)

That's going to be so fun to be able to be in Disney on Leap Day! We'll actually be in Disney on cinco de mayo, and I'm excited for that lol. Not sure they'll do anything for that but it'll be fun to say I was in Disney then.

I love pins too and am interested to see if they'll be a special Leap Day one. I'm sure there will be!

Departure day is always sad, but at least you'll have one last park day! That helps! :)

Leap Day should be a lot of fun and it'll be great having extra park time on last day :)

You'll have to check out Mexico on Cinco de Mayo. I bet they have something going on :)

Thanks!

Have a wonderful trip! The weather is looking good again ;). I think our plans have us in Epcot the same day as you. Watch out for the crazy 20 month old red head
We look forward to reading your report when we get home

What luck that your last day coincides with "One More Disney Day"! I am sure it will be fun plus breakfast at CP! :goodvibes It is a bummer the vacation is ending but what a way to send it off!! Good luck to Caitlin on those mid-terms! :thumbsup2

Thankfully they weren't horrible this semester, but last semester I was taking 18 credits and had three tough science classes with labs! I had an Anatomy & Physiology, Chem 120, and Psychology midterm all within a day of each other; it was INSANE! I always just assumed that I was going to be a nurse, but once I got to Eastern and started taking classes I just realized that science was definitely not for me! Now, I know that I want to do something with Disney, but I have no idea what. I also LOVE playing the flute, and I have been for 12 years now. I don't wanna give that up...so, I'm going to do the Disney College Program and hopefully that will give me a better sense of, "I love this, this is what I'm going to do" or "I really like this, but it's not for me". I still have one more semester before I have to commit to a program, so I still have some time, thank goodness!

Sounds like the Disney CP will be perfect for you! :goodvibes

Only 2 more sleeps!! :dance3::dance3:

Why is it the last few days seem to drag on and last forever? Yesterday seemed to go on and on and on

I think we have everything packed and ready to go. Yesterday I charged the camera and packed the camera bag. The 50 pins Caitlin got off ebay are packed and ready to be traded as are the Vinylmations she wants to trade. We have packed enough clothes to stay for a few weeks and we are prepared for any kind of weather :thumbsup2

The must do list for today is: hitting the gym (where I will meet the new guy Caitlin has started seeing ;)), our weekly lunch with my dad
and keeping our fingers crossed for those ME docs!

I hope everyone has a great Fat Tuesday! Eat a paczki!

***UPDATE~ The ME docs arrived at 2pm today!! I am so relieved!! Wooohooo!

I don't understand why they have been arriving so late :confused3 As frustrated as I was, I kept thinking "I'd be furious if this was one of my clients!"

Exactly! I love being able to skip the ME checkin line and head straight for the red carpet. That was the only thing upsetting me about not having them. I want to be in line and on that bus just as fast as I can

I'm wondering if they have another process "in the works" and they are concentrating on that!? I have no inside information, just guessing...
Time will tell...

I know they are in the process of changing things so that all travel docs come together. The new format has the ME stuff inside the little coupon booklet. I know some clients have gotten their things like that already but apparently not everything has been switched :confused3

Oops! I forgot that is a regional kind of thing. A "paczki" (pronounced poonch-key) is a fried piece of dough which may have any variety of fruit filling. Think a doughnut but with at least triple the calories. They are popular in the Polish community as a Fat Tuesday treat. In the Detroit area there is a town called Hamtramack that is traditionally a Polish community. Their tradition has become so popular with Detroiters that we call Fat Tuesday "Paczki Day". I must admit though, as tempting as they look I refrained from having one this year :)
