Welcome to another adventure for the Burns Girls!!!!!!

If you haven't met us here we are

Me- PrincessCaitlin aka Caitlin (but leave the Princess on if you want ) I am a senior at Eastern Michigan University with a major in Communications and double minors in Electronic Media and Political Science. I will be graduating next year and then I will be getting my Masters in Public Administration. I hope to go into local and state politics. I am a huge Disney fan and I am either always on the boards or listening to Disney music This trip will be my 12th trip to Disney! I am a huge fan of working out and talked my mom into running two different 5ks at Disney!

Character that describes me the best- Belle (I always have my nose stuck in a book)


Momma- Dawnbu40 aka Dawn. She is amazing and definitely why we go to Disney. She is a Disney travel planner and planning all of those other people's trips helps her with her addiction She is tons of fun and my best friend I am so excited to spend some alone time with her in the World! The only issue is she came down with bronchitis a week ago and we will have to wait and see if she is up for participating in the 5k.

Character that describes her the best- The mom from Good Luck Charlie (she can be a bit overdramatic and is always making us laugh! We always watch that show and crack up at how alike they are )


Our trip is next month!!!

When: February 23-29
Where: Port Orleans Riverside and Pop Century
Why: If you have followed along with our last Trip Report life has been tough these past few months and what better way to cheer us up than a trip to our happy place! The title comes from what we have been through and hopefully our time at Disney will refresh us and renew us!
Special Stuff: We will be participating in the Royal Family 5k and the One Extra Disney Day on February 29th!!!!!!!!!

Well, I can see that the DIS is in slow mo again this morning, but I have waited patiently to sub. Very happy to see you are doing a PTR. What a wonderful time to visit the world. I have never visited in Feb, but its definitely on my bucket list. I'm sure you are both going to have tons of fun.

Ugh how slow it has been lately has gotten on my nerves! Thank you for joining us!!!! February is a ton of fun! It is a bit cold but the low crowd levels are definitely worth it! I think we will! This will be my first trip after turning 21

Oh, wait... could you possibly some day bar me from entering the U.S. ? ... Did I ever tell you how much I enjoy and admire your TRs? Wonderful stuff... really...

I gotta admit, that while the thought of MK open 24hrs is kinda neat (OMG did I just say "kinda neat"? Oh, well... again...), I do worry about the crowding on that day. I imagine by 4am it'll be thinned out quite a bit, though.

I am so excited!! This will be our first one just the two of us! We have had girls only trips with my grandma but this will be way different since my mom and I move at a much faster pace

I loved the Royal Family 5k when I did it two years ago! The Everest one wasn't the best so I am hoping the Royal Family is as good as I remember it! My dream is to go in January next year and do the marathon!

She says thank you! She has been getting better today is her last day of antibiotics so we will have to see how she improves in a month. She is just upset she won't be able to train as hard and improve her time from the Expedition Everest 5k

I think that neat is the perfect word Actually the website we look at for park crowd levels is still predicting it to be a 2 which is very low. We won't be able to enjoy the full day only from opening at 6 am-1 pm but I am guessing not a lot of people will be there during that time. I also think the park is only open for hotel guests for the extra hours so it's just an extended extra magic hour and those tend to be a bit dead. Even if it is packed I am pumped for some MK sunrise pics!!!!

I am doing much better thank you! I finished off the semester with all A's, enjoyed working for the first time and now I am busier with school but everything has come together
