But...

I've managed to get everything in the suitcase for our little trippie to Edinbugh and a weekend at the 2010 British Open Golf at ST Andrews.

Going with the in-laws and staying in a 2 bed apartment right next to the castle

Staying at a Travelodge near Waterloo tonight, Pizza Express dinner (with voucher ) and then its the 9am train tomorrow morning - arrive in Edinburgh at 1pm.
Day wandering/sightseeing on Fri (although we have been before) and then 2 - probably soaking wet/windy/freezing days at St Andrews

Leaving Edinburgh at 1pm on Monday so hopefully home in time for dinner

We are booked into one of the best sea food restaurants EVER imho - The Mussel Inn - tomorrow night - the highlight for me.... apart from Tiger - and the Hard Rock Cafe on Friday night.

DH - bless him - bought himself a lovely swizzy (and v expensive ) camera last month to take to the golf..... but when he checked the tickets NO Cameras and NO phones!!!

I am off to Edinburgh, on Saturday, just sightseeing for the weekend, did not realise it was the golf until after we had booked it!!

Edinburgh is a wonderful city - we had 5 nights there for our honeymoon 3 years ago. If u have time try to get out to the Royal Yacht Brittania - a great couple of hours. : - )

and a late afternoon coffee/wine on 5th floor of Harvey Nicks is great too!! X x
