I agree about lunch at CRT and actually since i ate there it has really lost it's appeal. But now maybe I will give the breakfast a shot before I cross it off my list for good.

Your TR really makes me hope that one day I can hit a 24 hours party, it seems like so much fun!

Ahhhhh I'm loving these updates!!!! I'm hoping they do another 24 hour next year because I totally want to do it! You guys did a ton of stuff before breakfast. So excited you got to ride the mine train. It was such a tease at the beginning of May to see them running it with no one on if Can't wait till September when I get to experience it So sad the fairy friends aren't meeting with Tink anymore, big the new meet is cute. Ahhhhh breakfast in the castle.... I got to do it once years ago and that stuffed french toast.... I still remember how yummy it was.

Glad you enjoyed breakfast at CRT - we are doing that for the dirt time and knowing you can get the stuffed French Toast instead of meat will make my wife's week (she doesn't eat beef or pork)

We've had good to very good interractions at character meals - but they definitely are shorter than regular meets, but you do get to get a bunch "done" at once

It really does make it that much better! Having done all 3 meals now I THINK breakfast is my favourite lol, lunch definitely isn't worth it for me! I do think it has a lot to do with who's working, and how they're feeling. I've seen people speed through greets during meals so much faster, and had others sit down at the table with us I do like knocking like 5 princesses off the list at once though (though that doesn't stop us from going to see them after anyways lol)

Would you believe in over 25+ visits, we have NEVER had a single meal in the castle? I keep thinking about doing breakfast, but I don't do eggs and I don't think I'd like french toast with custard in it (wonder if they'd make plain french toast?). Would you recommend breakfast over dinner?

I have to say that is one of the "better" looking Snow White's I've seen in quite some time. Ariel looks like she is 14. I have to say that this Jasmine with you girls is beautiful.

Thank you!! It was an awesome time, I was glad Danielle was able to come!! Wow!! It's definitely worth it!! I'd go with dinner if you're not big on the breakfast food. The portions, choices, food and service has always been amazing for us at dinner, lunch, not so much. Dinner can be tricky to time out with all the evening fun at MK, but if you luck out you can catch wishes from inside lol.

I'm definitely biased when it comes to Snow's as I've got a few AMAZING friends who hang out with her and are legitimately perfect lol! Ariel is super young looking, but I guess she is only 16 haha! Jasmine was amazing!!!

We were in that morning 24 hour bus line at POP. Smart idea to grab a cab. We ended up missing the morning show by about 5 minutes but honestly I was impressed that we made it there that early so I was ok with it.

Ok, I sooo wish I had known I could have gotten eggs or potatoes with that stuffed French toast (although I don't really eat eggs...). It was just too much "dessert" after the plate of pastries. Having something to break that up would have been great.

Looking forward to hearing about the rest of your 24 hour day (and the rest of your trip).

I love doing a character meal on arrival day if we're not going into the parks, adds in the magic nice & quick. The audition was fun, I know I'll never give up, I'm simply going to switch my focus to the other parks for a little bit before/after my program (as I'm not allowed to audition on the program... )

Ahahahahah! SO TRUE! I was quite worried actually about how I would do. My anxiety has been flaring up over the past few years and sometimes comes out of NOWHERE so I was a little worried something would happen up there but I was actually a-okay!

Nice!! I know we would've made it fine had we stuck in the line, but I just didn't want to miss the show (and spoiler alert we never caught it again that trip so I'm super happy)

Thats exactly the reason I didn't get the toast, I didn't want to deal with an upset stomach on a 24 hr park day! Thank you!!

It was fantastic! Danielle is seriously amazing, I am so lucky to have been able to meet her as many times as I have and spend that much time with her, the entire clan is great and I'm super excited for our adventures coming up in the next year~!!

I've met her before and when she was hanging with the Blondie and she actually is super spunky and amazing. She was even doing DEP as one of the 'Murica girls and saw me, recognized me and got all excited and waved and called out to me, so it was probably just a REALLY early morning

Ok this is random but can I just say props to Jenna for wearing a strapless dress to the parks?! She looks so cute and comfy! Glad you breakfast was so good at CRT. I've never made it there, mainly because I've heard such mixed reviews. And side note, Jasmine looks super pretty in those pictures! I think it's her eyes that stand out so much.Too bad about Ariel though, she looked like she would be bubbly and fun from the pics.

RIGHT?!? I taught her a few ways to tie that with it being tied over the shoulders but she wore it strapless and I was impressed, she was definitely making sure it was staying up, but I would not have been able to do that!

Definitely met that friend of Ariel's multiple times before and she's great, so I'm sure it was just an early morning kinda thing, she might've been working late the night before, or hate dining, who knows lol. And YES! I love that friend of Jasmine's she's gorgeous, I think it must be the blue eyes, it's just such a contrast I love it!

Man, those fans were full force that morning, I remember! It was freakin' cold in that line.

I remember that family in line, taking pictures like every step. LOL. I just stood back. I'm so relaxed, I figure it's not worth it. Hahaha.

YAY for the Mine Train! I totally understand about the whole interactive queue thing. I mean, I tend to just cut people if they hang around one of the games or whatever too long not that that happens all that often, but I think that lady should've been more than understanding. And I had the same feeling after I got off SDMT that I loved it, but wished it was a bit more thrilling and I LOVED the return of those animatronics. Love SDMT, but I'll always miss SWSA.

Those are some seriously awesome pics on PPF. LOL @ getting spat on so much by the camel. I never get spat on enough by him. :/

Looks like you guys had a lovely time with Tink! I love how she made sure you weren't dressed up as a Wendy bird, so cute. I'm so glad she still is very much in Peter Pan mode, I preferred her character SOOO much more in that movie than how she is in the new Tink movies, but that's just my opinion. She's adorable either way.

Fairy Godmother is just the sweetest thing ever! I wish I had met her when I was there. Always next time. And your picture is the most adorable thing ever. Love it!

CRT looks like a fabulous breakfast! I never knew that entertainment CMs don't like to work at the character meals. That's really good to know. And that French toast looks delish! So funny how you guys snuck away with some wishing stars haha

Her PP character is a lot more fun, and I appreciate it when the friends take both Tink's and meld them into one, she's still fun & spunky in the new ones, but then the movies also give Vidia a chance to be the sarcastic sassy one.

Hahah, i think it really depends on the cm's some of them might love it, but from what I've heard dining is not ideal to do, it's a LOT more people, and there's probably much different timing to work out, plus smelling all the food, interrupting peoples meals, kids have a 99% higher chance of smearing food on you or having their mouths full....bahaha

Fun breakfast!!! You know I can't escape CRT I have to agree, lunch just doesn't justify the high price tag. We enjoyed the meal (next update on my TR), but the food just wasn't signature enough.

The 24 hr day was a blast, spoiler alert: we left much earlier than expected or I wanted, but in the long run it was for the best, but next year (supposing I'm not working) I'm definitely going to attempt it all!

It was such a great morning! love the mine train! ugh, fairy friends, I MISS THEM!! I even managed to meet ALL of them but Irdressa this year! They seemed to be rotating the friends through so everyone got a chance to be seen before they left but I'm pretty sure there's only one "friend" of Irdressa and she was also like 1 of 3 "friends" of Tiana's so it was tight to make it work lol!

After breakfast Danielle had plans to go meet up with her parents again, so Jenna & I said “see ya soon” to her and we made on our own way through the kingdom! I’m PRETTY sure that we had headed back over to Adventureland to see about Jasmine & Aladdin, we may have just seen the princess, but Jenna had a picture she wanted to recreate with the two of them from her childhood, so we were in search of them together. It was also appearing that today was not going to be that day, as only Jas was out when we got over there.

Not wanting the trip to Adventureland be a waste, we took a spin through the high seas on Pirates and then crossed back through the hub to explore the worlds of Tomorrow! Along the way, we did stop briefly to CHECK OUT the Move It Shake It Celebrate It that was going on, because well…HUBBA HUBBA #HELLOSIR.

Today they had swapped out the regular characters on top of the floats with first heroes, then villains, then a mix of whoever was most popular, I guess? Hercules was up on a float, and let me tell you, Hunkules is a completely accurate name for that man! I also saw a very familiar face in a blue shirt come into the hub as we were headed on our way and stopped to say hi! A friend had been pulled to super greet for the morning with the munks, and she had one HECK of a day, all morning super greeting, followed by an evening with Elsa, and then started another shift in the morning with the Queen, I think it totaled up to be a 23 hour shift for her! #dead







The photographer was awesome enough to do some magic shots with us as well!





Space was the next big thing we did, the wait wasn’t too bad, and the ride was good, Jenna said it wans’t her favorite, which was more than okay with me since I’m not a fan of how jerky it is! Buzz’s wait time was far too long for what the ride is, so we skipped it in favor of taking the little back pathway over to Storybook Circus for a bathroom break & a visit to my favorite boys!



Goofy had no photopass with him, sad day! While we were waiting in line we noticed that he was super awesome too, and were pretty excited, until we noticed that the group of girls in front of us was one of “those “ groups and honestly by the time we GOT up to Goofy, his energy had been spent bahaha. Donald was super cute as per usual though!







Love that little angry duck!! The two of us took a slow stroll through the gift shop on the way out, probably tried on some hats, you know, the usual, and then it was TIME for our much awaited fast passes of the day, the ones that would get us in to see Anna & Elsa!! Our return time was for 10:50, and it was only a little bit after that by the time we got into the line, and it was backed up, but that was to be expected.

By 11:23, we were in the room and taking pictures!









Anna & Elsa were good, honestly, nothing spectacular, and nothing I would’ve wanted to wait 3 hours for….but they asked if we had been playing out in the snow, as it looked like we had (we’d stopped in at gotten pixie dusted at Castle Couture before breakfast) and if we were carrying snowballs in our bags!







It’s honestly also always so sad to see Aurora standing by herself now, (although that’s no longer the case in there anymore) I mean, it’s like everyone’s there to see the sisters & I’m all “Aurora, I love you, no worries!” lol.





I have no notes written down from what we had talked about but I know she was great, and we got hugs, so all was right in the world!





We booked it out of Fairytale Hall after that, as it was getting too close to noon, and we had a VERY important place to be! I had friends who were doing day parade that day, and I’d told them a specific place we’d be watching from!

Yeah, it was weird. We saw him pop up later in the day, and his friend had been off doing MiSi earlier, so I think there was probably some staffing issues that day, but hey, we eventually got there!

I heard they were changing some of the music & some of the characters around, I'll check with stilts friend to see if he knows anything, I'll get the info, no worries. I'm a little excited, I heard adding in Stitch, and that Mickey, minnie, donald & goof were moving up to the tops of the floats, which means that part of the music needs to be changed.

Awaaaaay we goooooo

Jenna & I had just grabbed some somewhat shady spots in front of the Hall of Presidents for the noon Festival of Fantasy Parade! I was BEYOND thrilled today to know that not just some of my princess friends or other parade friends were doing FoF, especially since they do most days, but Quintin was actually doing parade!! He’d been a tumblr friend for a while now, we’d been following along with each other from before he’d graduated, through his numerous auditions, and today was the day I was going to actually get to see him dance his way down parade route and I was SO EXCITED!

And naturally, it had only been like, 2 and a half hour since breakfast, was it wrong that we were hungry again?



Jenna bought one for me as well which was super nice, but I don’t know what happened, but my stomach was NOT feeling it, I think I ate just the ear off of it and she attempted to eat most of hers & mine since she felt bad for spending so much money on it bahaha! Sorry Jenna! Snacks devoured, parade spots secured, sunscreen reapplied to the shoulders, it was time for a Festival of FANTASY TO BEGIN.





I have to admit, I’ve always had a HUGE love for the Swan Court costumes, they’re absolutely beautiful, and the very first time I saw the parade in person & saw them up close, I was blown away with how gorgeous they were!





The princess float began to arrive, with Belle & Beast kicking it off, Belle of course, knew where we’d be and I was far too busy waving & blowing kisses to her to get decent pictures lol, Jenna also turned to me and said “I’m guessing this is one you know?” bahaha.





I do like the rotating aspects of the floats, it does make sure that everyone at least gets to SEE the chracters, but I got no pictures of Cinderella & Charming today lol. I do get that some people are irked about the rotation, but it’s better than the CADCT parade where they faced one side of the float the entire way.











I’m also SUPER happy that since opening they’ve replaced the Sleeping Beauty music in this section with Frozen, it clearly fits a lot better, and it was irking to have Aurora’s music TWICE in a parade she wasn’t even in bahaha!





LOVE THESE OUTFITS TOO!! Seriously, I just want to twirl forever in them! I also love the derpy pascal at the front of the Tangled float, and the detailing that’s put into this whole section!









Jenna highly approved the way Rapunzel was looking today in the parade, which was great, Punzie’s her favorite! I also give mad props to Flynn & the Thugs here, they’re full on making the things sway themselves…that takes strength!



UGH! GUYS I CAN’T GET OVER HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS PARADE. Seriously. I was rather hesitant about some of the costume (how will they dance?!) when they first released pictures of them, and the Little Mermaid section has some crazy ones, but they are GORGEOUS and make the parade so fantastic!

Ready for the best part of the parade?! Lol. Around the bend the Neverland unit was coming on up, and like, it’s awesome and fantastic enough as is, but this is the unit Quintin’s in, so that makes it even BETTER!

We also lucked out HUGE with where the choreo was looping around, and it timed out perfectly to be as the Lost Boys were right in front of us so I got a hug & everything!!



Guys, I honestly can’t express how happy I was in that moment, and how happy I have been to see people & especially friends achieve their dreams. This is something that makes it all seem real, it makes it seem like it’s actually doable, lol! I mean, I’ve heard all of Quintin’s stories, heard how many auditions he’s done, and to actually see it all come to life, and ON PARADE ROUTE, and see him dancing his little heart out, it just makes everything SO MAGICAL and I’m just so incredibly happy to see people making their dreams come true!









Tink was looking adorable today too!



Now, I have to say, the next 2 sections of the parade are ones that just don’t really do it for me….the first half is so incredible, and the last unit/2 units BLOW MY MIND with emotions, but there’s just something about the Brave Unit that doesn’t really do it for me? I will give props to the dancers because it is super high energy…make it’s the wigs? Bahahah.





If any of you remember Amanda from December’s trip/last year, her friend Cassy works for Disney, and was over at DHS doing mainly Fantasmic or fur shifts, but was trained on FoF and the previous trip I’d gotten pictures of her in the finale unit, so we’ve became friends since then and she was in the Brave section today! I did my best but not a lot of pictures turned out, but I apparently got some of another friend of hers who really liked them and thus added me on facebook? Bahaha whatever works! I was happy to be spreading magic!











Don’t hate me….but this is probably my LEAST favorite part of the parade….honestly….Yeah, it’s awesome that the dragon breathes fire and all, but like, there’s a dragon in our local movie theater that breathes fire every like, 10 minutes…it’s nothing special to me lol! I think it probably that there isn’t ANY dancing in the section, the choreo is all kinda just walking, and like, Phillip may be fighting Malificient, but it just looks like he’s constantly backing away from the dragon the entire way…there’s just something missing….


…oh right….Aurora….

Grumpy!! Jenna’s favorite! She was super excited to see him, and we were sad we didn’t get to meet him at all!





I honestly don’t know what it is about the last unit of FoF, but it is truly my love! Seriously, the choreo, the costumes, the music, the characters, definitely my favorite part! There’s just something about how the music swells the slightest bit, and Jiminy comes to the front of the group to lead everyone in the dance that makes me so happy!









When I first saw costumes for this part of the parade, it was another time that I was all “what?” but honestly, seeing everything together brings everything really to life, and everything fits so well and amazingly and it makes me so incredibly happy. We both really enjoyed the parade, Jenna mentioned it being on the list of “best parts of today” so I was super happy with that!

Parade finished, we had another fast pass to get to, and this one was super important, so back to Fairytale Hall we went, and we made it for 12:40!



I was curious as to why Cinderella had her winter wear on…..inside….in the middle of May….but hey, whatever works! Maybe she was freezing, maybe a child attacked her with ice cream? Who knows?!



She was cute, and asked if we had any troubles loosing shoes on our adventures so far, and hoped that we wouldn’t, and said something about how Charming was always stepping on the heels of hers! Lol.





And now, was coming the moment of truth. Jenna had been very pleased with all the character’s friends that were in the parade, and we’d done okay so far with princesses today, but concerning Rapunzel, she’s SUPER picky, obviously, it’s her favorite. She’s very set on how Punzie should look, and obviously act, if Rapunzel’s quiet and subdued, there’s kinda something wrong. I recognized the friend of Rapunzel’s when we walked in the room, and knew I liked her, even if I hadn’t met her with this blondie yet, so it was time to see how she’d do….







In case you can’t tell by the look on Jenna’s face….Rapunzel did perfect….She was absolutely amazing, SUPER interactive with everyone, even just watching her while we were in line was perfection! She gave us both multiple hugs, asked about our adventures, freaked out over my birthday button, and when she asked what day it actually was and I said “Wednesday” she said she’d put off a floating lantern just for me! BEST. DAY. EVER. She was amazing, and so awesome. Jenna had wanted a solo picture, and we half attempted to do that first, but Rapunzel was so into everything we both ended up in there, so before leaving I made sure to vocalize that Jenna wanted one, just to be safe.







Lovely as ever the blondie gave us both big hugs once more before wishing us luck on the rest of our adventures for the day, and it was magical as ever!





Meeting princesses is a big thing, whether your 6 or 60 years old, and I feel like when you’re older, it can definitely be more of a “challenge” though it is never not as real or as magical. And its moments like this that I give so much thanks and appreciation towards the cast members who see past the physical age, and remember that they’re brining a character to life and making magic for each and every guest that comes through the park gates, no matter what they think, and I thank Rapunzel for being so amazing today, it really made it the best day ever!

Katt, you had me in tears with this update. And now you have me looking to see if I can change a FP+ selection so that we get one for the parade. Mark hates sitting around for an hour before the parade, but I know he is going to want to see this.

I love all the pictures you got of your friend in the parade. And I love how excited you are for your friends who made it through all those auditions.

And your intereaction with Rapunzel is just so heartwarming. We had a great Rapunzel last year and her interaction with Mark was priceless



We rarely do the princesses, but I was so glad we stopped for this one.
