it's 6 am and the ADR website isn't working again? anyone else having trouble?

it finally started working for me at 8:30 AM...
i called disney dining at 7 AM ..
the CM right away said the ADR system was completely down for everyone for "enhancements"..

that i should try calling back later..

instead of calling back, i kept obsessively trying on my iphone (i'd left home by that point)..

i finally got in at 8:30 AM...and that was after trying continually..

ok...so i was sitting on the beach as i kept trying since it was 3:30 PM my time (with everyone looking at me like a weirdo since i had to hold something over my iphone for shade so that i could see it..

anyway, i got in after 2.5 hours of trying....kinda ridiculous but whatever...and no, i didn't get what i wanted, but c'est la vie..
perhaps it will come open closer to our travel date (in 175 days or so)..

Disney really needs to figure out a way to not have this happening every few weeks! There are way too many ADRs that are extremely difficult if not booked at exactly 180 days to have the site be shutting down for extended periods of time.
 

I went through this very thing last week and was told when I called that they were making a system upgrade. Yet, even the reservationist couldn't make any ADRs for me. I was so aggravated trying for three days with different browsers on a computer that I wrote to Customer Service. Of course, I got a 'canned response'.

Yesterday I couldn't even get MDE to work at all and just gave up. Today it's fine.

Based on my experience with technical support for a massive system for a federal contractor I know that every system has it's problems. One day last week I could make ADRs for certain restaurants but not others so perhaps they update in 'batches'.

I have always been patient with Disney's technical issues and even defended them to a point but there is a limit.

the same thing happened to me two days ago - i couldn't get into the ADR system at 6 AM, so i called at 7 AM to be told the system was still down 'for enhancements" and to try again later..

now of course, most systems tend to go down in the middle of the night for maintenance, upgrade, back up etc..
but disney IT knows they need to bring the system back up by 6 AM.
and certainly before the call center begins operating at 7
yet they repeatedly fall short of the mark.
i assume their IT is in house and they only have themselves to blame, but if it's not, they should get a new software services company asap.
