It's 1:22 am on the East Coast - what are you doing up??

I'm up cuz of the thunderstorms and it was my turn to listen to the baby monitor. I gotta get up in four hours for the gym but I'm leaving in a few minutes....I can leave any time I want....really.

If you're up now too - WHY???

Well, here in Indiana we don't go on DST so we're still EST right now, an hour behind you.

I'm a night owl, but do get to sleep in. Going to bed now (12:44 am), and will get up about 9:00 am.

I'm up because DD16 is going on a trip with her Girl Scout troop, and they are driving to an airport about an hour away to catch a 6:00am flight, so they are meeting at 3:00am. I didn't get to bed early because I'm also packing DD11 for three weeks at camp, so I decided it would be easier to stay up. I'll wake DD16 in about 45 minutes and take her to the meeting spot (fast food restaurant just down the street) while DD11 stays asleep. Then I'll be able to sleep in a little in the morning, because DD11 doesn't have to be anywhere until 10:00am. So I might get about six hours of sleep tonight!!!

She was "delivering" her DD 16 to the meeting place to leave for a girl scout trip I believe. She does deserve congrats for getting it done at 3AM.

Jmatias - are you STILL up?? If so, then I'm impressed.

DVCLiz - great mom move. 1000 points for delivering DD to her GS function. My DD15 is away at camp this week, returning tomorrow night and other DD13 leaves for camp next week.

Now...if I could just find a camp or some function to volunteer for that happens at Disney.

Well - after my 1:22 post I went to bed to try and sleep. I remember seeing the clock sometime after 2:30...desperate to fall asleep because I knew I had to get up at 5:45 to make a racquetball match at 6:00 am.

DW scolded me for drinking caffeinated coffee after 10:00 pm last night - I insisted that it doesn't affect me...but I think she was right

so now I am at work, sifting through emails, drinking coffee (it's ok now) and looking forward to a busy day with occasional visits to The DIS.

AreWeThereYet next time you to much coffee after 10pm, can you please look for airfare from ord one way to lax for april 13, evening flight, please. i heard if you book during the am hours you can get great airfare, i can never bring myself to to get up in am to check. thanks

hah - sure thing. Haven't been through LAX since I moved to GA 12 years ago...
