I have never done a 5 night trip so I am having trouble with getting it all "in". I also have never done a trip with a child as young as my son will be be, 1 1/2. Could anyone offer suggestions? Rework it if you need to. I am a visual person.
It will be myself (33), my mom( 56), my sister (29 ), my DD (5), and DS (1 1/2). We are staying at the BWV for 5 nights, end of Oct.

Sunday: Arrive at 5:30, should be in the hotel by 7pm. We are not sure what to do about dinner but may just do something easy since the kids will be tired.

Monday: MK ( a tradition is to start with MK and do the Prirates ride first!). Dinner at Cape May around 6.

Tuesday: Epcot then time at the hotel before the Halloween Party. 5:20 dinner at LTT.

Wednesday: Animal Kingdom. WS at night and have dinner in Norway around 6.

Thursday: Typhoon Lagoon in the AM for a few hours. MGM in the afternoon. (This day is kinda hard. We want to spend some time at TL during our trip. We don't need a whole day at MGM. We will split up and I will do things with the kids while the other ladies do RRC.) We may eat at Sci-fi for dinner.

Friday: Cape May breakfast around 8:30 and DTD for shopping before catching our 5:30 pm flight home.

I am having trouble working in MGM as it always closes early and it is not our fav. What will the hours be? I seem to remember 6 or 7 closing times?
Also I am not sure how good my DS will be about napping in the carriage. We may or may not need a nap break back at the hotel.
OK rip it up guys!

My only suggestion so far is to try to sneak in more nap time in the afternoon hours for the kiddos. Unless they can sleep in a stroller in the parks.:D

Sophia won't need to nap. She napped on our first trip but on the second she was all charged up all day. She's the BEST Disney buddy!:teeth:
Luke will need one a day, hopefully in the carriage but who knows. He loves to see things. It may be too much for him. We may take turns going back to the hotel so we don't all need to hang around.

You can always go to MGM for a few hours on your last day, since you said it is not a full day park for you. Since you've been to Disney a few times before (and probably will go again) I think you can skip the big shopping excursion this time. However, I would suggest hitting MGM on Thursday evening for Fantasmic. I don't know what kind of tix you have and whether this would be practical, but I think Fantasmic is a don't miss attraction.

Good luck and have fun.

I would suggest Fantasmic also. It's definately a do not miss for our family. The Stars and Motor Cars parade might also be something you don't want to miss at MGM. Your DS might get a kick out of seeing all the fancy cars and the characters. Have a great time planning!

OK. We have a 4 day pass.

Thursday: Water park and MGM in PM/sci-fi dinner

Friday: Character B-fast and shopping

or
Thursday: Character b-fast/ Water Park and Shopping in PM

Friday: MGM and sci fi lunch
What would you guys pick. One day is a non park day because we only have a 4 day pass. So that is why one day is set aside for either DTD or hotel hopping.

DS does LOVE cars!! I may need to keep that in mind!

I like this option better. Eat early then hit the water park. You can still rest in your a bit if you need to since DTD shops are open til 11pm. And for your last day you dont want to be running around everywhere so hitting MGM and having lunch there is a good idea.
