Itinerary help: Basseterre St. Kitts or Philipsburg St. Maarten?

I'm looking for some opinions on which itinerary my husband and I should choose for our 10 year anniversary cruise. It will be our first time cruising on Harmony of the Seas, and both itineraries also include coco cay and San Juan. Both islands look nice but I'm having trouble deciding between the two. The St. Maarten one is definitely cheaper, but since it's a special trip, price isn't necessarily a deciding factor. We are people who like to always be doing something fun, and not just sitting on a beach all day, but we do like snorkeling, water sports, adventure etc.

So with that info in mind...any opinions on which island would be better for us to choose? Thanks!

St Maarten.

You can head inland to Marigot which is like being in France! Great boulangerie there. We did an island tour with beach time and it as great.
