Great update.....We saw the castle lighting for the first time this past New years. You are so right....WOW, it's amazing!

Love your MVMCP goodies. This is the one thing I wish I'd known five years ago, when we went to our first (and only) MVMCP. I saw party items that night, but couldn't make a decision, and thought , "I'll get it tomorrow night when we're back at MK"... NOPE....party goods are only out during the party! Glad you knew that ahead of time and were able to score some great things. Love the ornament.

I just found your TR and I am enjoying your pictures!! Also, can I just say that we have actually done the QSDDP before and did not know you could get juice AND another drink! Between the drink with the meal and the refillable mug, and now this juice, I think this is a Disney plot to keep us OUT of the attraction lines and IN the potty lines! haha

And can I just say you look like a 20 year old!!!??? No way you have teenagers!!! You lucky girl!!

Oh the castle lights are so gorgeous! That's my favorite part of Christmas at Disney.

I'll never understand why people do that with the parade. I hate confrontation too, but sometimes you just have to say something.

I'll bet the parade goes on. Disney rarely dissapoints, so I'm sure they found a way to make it happen.

Oh, the Castle lighting....so, so amazing!!!

And Casey's....almost equally as amazing in it's own way.

but I gathered all my courage and told her that we had been sitting there for over 1 ½ hours and she could not “squeeze” in. She was not happy, but moved on. I wonder if she was able to push anyone else out of her way?

Good job!!!! Those kind of people are at EVERY parade/lighting/show and man, they know how to get my blood boiling! She could have just as easily taken a standing spot on the sidewalk behind you for a good view.

I sure hope you got to see the parade....!

all caught up again, that was a geat update.
I am so looking forward to taking it easy on my next Disney trip, when you mentioned pulling the curtains shut and it gets dark, I was ready for a nap.

The nachos look amazing, I love nachos, I tend to not eat them when I go out because I never know just how my stomache will react to them, bu tI will definitley be getting the nachos.

I didn't do MVMCP on my last trip, but I did go in 2007, my only regret was not checking out any of the shops or buying any MVMCP stuff, I saw a long sleeved T-shirt for it but didn't care for it and really didn't bother to look for anything else, oh well live and learn.

It's sad about the little girl throwing up, poor thing, I hope she didn't stay sick for too long, I'm like your DH if I had been there I would have lost my cookies too, I can't be around it, My DH always has vomit duty when the flu passes through our house. I all but move out when sombody around here starts spewing.

I think I would have done the same thing as you when it came to that lady wanting to "squeeze" in, I would do it for a child, but no way am I going to stand and wait an hour and half just to be squuezed in with somebody who mozeys up at the last minute.

the castle is gorgeous, Disney did good!

I know what you mean about sometimes craving fruits and veggies while you are on vacation - I do the same thing!! One night on our trip, it was just me and a few of the kids and so we grabbed lunch meat and bread from the gift shop and had sandwiches - they tasted so good!! My stomach needed a break from fried food and cheese.

The castle is just beautiful in everyone's pictures, isn't it? It's so nice to see it every single time it's in someone's report. I can just picture myself standing in front of it and being so happy that I am in Magic Kingdom at that moment in time.
