Great wrap up to your TR ... I'm so glad you two had a chance to get away on your own. WDW without kids ... being kids yourself ... is a wonderful treat.

I really enjoyed your final thoughts. You had a lot of great new experiences this trip. I have to agree with you that traveling sans kids is a lot of fun! So many people don't realize what a great vacation is Disney is for "adults only".

I was sad to read that the snack credits can't be used at Goofy's for much anymore. I had planned on doing a dipped rice krispy one day. ah well....

This was the first time since January 2000 that Tom and I had gone away alone for a non-business, non-church related event. This was just for us, and it was so incredibly wonderful! We have a fantastic marriage, but this time away gave us a chance to re-connect and have FUN together.

So nice to hear.

1) Travelling without kids is a completely different experience. We could go as fast (or as slow) as we wanted!


3) I wish we had spent more time exploring in World Showcase, but it was really cold that day.

8) Next time I want to go through One Man’s Dream.

11) Four nights was a nice amount of time. One more day would have given us a chance to see Animal Kingdom, though.

Grown-up time is good, even (and maybe especially) when you're doing kid things.

I hope you get to take many more trips and spend much more time in World Showcase and in Animal Kingdom.

One Man's Dream is something I appreciate more and more as the years go by. Just think of all of the wonderful family times and great friendships that have come from one man's dream!
