Italy?

What is everyone's general opinion of the restaurant in Italy? We used to LOVE the one that was there, the Fettucini Alfredo was to die for. Will we be disappointed or is it still a great place?

We thought the food was good, but very expensive. Don't think it was worth the price... We are going to Mama Melrose this year, been there many times and like it much better...not as expensive but the food is just as good.

We thought the food was excellent but would only go if we were on the DDP since we found it to be a little pricey...$16 for a caesar salad!

We ate there last Sept. (on DDP) and really liked it. The food was good, server was good, loved the atmosphere.

We'd go back again (on DDP)

We ate there in August in a group of 9 with a custom ordered cake. I am not sure if it was the large group or the cake that slowed things up but the meal took forever. The food was very good though, and I am Italian and very disserning!

I'm curious to see what type of replies you get too. We're eating at Tutto Italia for the 1st time in May. Unlike you, we didn't care for Alfredo's. To me, the fettucine was good, but way too heavy. 3 bites & I was done. I'm hoping for a pasta dish with a lighter, cream sauce. Hopefully, they have something both of us will love.

We love Tutto Italia!

My friend and I had lunch at Tutto Italia on March 4th. We enjoyed it very much. My friend speaks Italian, so she had fun conversing with the waiter. I had Lasagna (which was excellent) and my friend had a pasta dish called Casarecci, which the waiter recommended . Both meals were delish. However, it is expensive. We both had coffee - no appetizer or dessert and the bill was $57.89 including the tip.

I think the best way to enjoy Tutto Italia is on the dining plan. Otherwise, it is quite pricey.
