Italy and Switzerland ABD or AMA Waterways Christmas market cruise?

Ok, we're narrowing down a do over trip after our cancellation yesterday. First option is just rebook our Italy Switzerland trip to next August. Our second option is an AMA Christmas Market Cruise. I can't do the ABD option due to jobs and being unable to be away on Christmas week). If we did a Christmas cruise earlier in December, would there be kids for my 7 year old granddaughter?

Is the AMA cruise this December or December 2022? Currently all clients must be fully vaxxed to cruise with AMA so the chances are your 7yr old granddaughter can't cruise if it's this December. But gosh, a Christmas market cruise sounds gorgeous!

Yes, been looking at this ABD for possibly next year once our soon-to-be 11 yo is vaccinated... If not, the following for sure.
