Italian Charms at WDW?

I'm not sure if this is the right board to post on or not, if not--sorry! I've seen Disney charms for Italian bracelets on the DISboard "shop" section. I was wondering if you can buy these in WDW (maybe for less?)...I've been searching for a pumpkin (for my pun-kin) and was thrilled to see one thru Disney. I"m guessing it's Cinderella coach, but it works for me! Thanks!

I just noticed my little trivia tid-bit was omitted from my signature. LOL! I know why, but it's funny that this innocent person's name is omitted when he is a Disney star!

Yes, you can get Italian charms on Main Stree in MK. I am not sure about the price but they had a nice selection.

I got some of the cheaper italian charms at DTD. I want to say they were $4 each.

Just a warning about some of the charms. I bought my wife 6 of the higher-priced ($25) ones with the colored parts inset into the gold. The insets on one of them fell out within a month of returning home. We called and exchanged it by mail. About a week after we got the new one, two different insets fell out. At that point we just decided to return the whole thing. Maybe we just got a few bad pieces, but I doubt it. Take a close look at the quality, and you'll be able to tell that it doesn't really match the price they put on the pieces.

Were these charms you bought at WDW? Has anyone else had this problem. So far the ones I've gotten and a jewelry store have been fine...

Yup, bought all of them at WDW. They're only available at one or two stores per park. To be quite honest, the cheaper ones you find everywhere else looked a lot sturdier.

We had a problem with the stones falling out of the birthstone mickey heads. These were the $4 charms but still we had to return one the first day and the other two lost stones within a week of so after we were home. The character ones are fine.

I have 4 of the birthstone Mickey heads since November. So far I have not had a problem. Now I'm scared to wear it though after reading the other posts! (I wear mine a lot).

I have the clear cz Mickey head on my bracelet (got it in December) and it's holding up fine!!

If you have an AP, and do your charm shopping at DTD, you can get 10% off. HOWEVER..........

Disney is out of some of the charms that I wanted...... like Flower (I wonder why) from Bambi, and Thumper, and Sneezy from Snow White. These characters have significant meaning to me, and I wanted to get them. I found Thumper and Flower on eBay, and found Sneezy at an internet shop. Sneezy was a bit higher- but S&H were included in the price.

Of course if you buy them in the parks, then the DIS loses your business!!
