TWO WEEKS!!!​

Good morning everyone!

I have to take the car in this morning for detailing (it was too late the day we actually bought it so I am doing that in about half an hour) so I thought I would give you an update on our past week and what our weekend looks like!

My week started off with a bang and I mean a bang! If you all remember I received a promotion in January and I have to tell you that I am loving my job! Well imagine my surprise when my manager called me to tell me that I was getting a level increase after only being in the job for 4 months......I was speechless! This was huge as I was quite certain I would not see an increase in level or pay for at least 2 years! And to get both in 4 months....I still cant believe it. I couldn#t wait to get home and share my news....Jasmine was so excited....of course she said woohoo shopping!!!! Are you surprised!

Second great thing....I found out this week that one of my longest and dearest Dis-friends was actually going to make it to the World the day before we leave. I was jumping around my kitchen and then would sit back down to read it again. You see, she may be my longest Dis-friend but we/ve never actually met....but we/ll be changing that next month! Oh wait, I forgot to tell you her name...it/s Leanne or leamom2princesses here on the boards! I am so excited to finally meet in person and see her adorable little girls who I've watched grow up here on the Boards, and of course her hubby Joe! Can't wait for this special day!

Third, a few more Dis-meets have been finalized! Hypermommy another of my longtime Dis-friends will be meeting us for dinner on our arrival evening! She is volunteering at ESPN that day so is going to try and skooch out early to meet us! Cant wait to see her...she is so skinny now....the last time I talked to her she had lost 130 pounds and she looks amazing! She is running a marathon in the very near future and I couldn#t be prouder of her! I will be sure to get photos of our dinner!

After our dinner I am meeting up with another very dear friend who we/ve never met before Canadianwdwfan! They also have an ADR at DTD on May 19 so will meet up after! So excited

Jasmine and I will be heading out as soon as I get back with the car! We need to stop and get prescriptions picked up, do a couple of returns for me, still looking for sandals for me, Jasmine apparently needs the new Naked II palette from Urban Decay so will swing by Sephora and a final stop at Walmart for some magazines and other last minute items!

The suitcases are out and there is stuff in them, actually I've got quite a bit packed already! A couple of weeks ago the shopping channel had on Hey's Packing Cubes....OMG....these things are amazing! I got eight of them in various sizes for $50. I also got the Hey's Toiletry Bag in the matching turquoise (a girl has to match) and that has everything in it that can be in it at this stage!

Once we are home tonight and get everything organized by tomorrow I should be able to take pics to show you the suitcases with the travel cubes...you're gonna love them!

I will be back after our fun filled day and update you if we were successful with finishing everything up!

Thanks for everything! I will take pictures in the morning and post them so you can see them. I bought them about 3 years ago for my bff cause she is a packing queen...and she had bought 8 more for the whole family! She swears by them!

What is a packing cube?

The best invention ever....ok, well for us packing OCD people, it's the best invention ever They keep all your clothes from flying around the suitcase and you can just pick them up and put them straight into the drawers! I will post pics tomorrow....

It's funny, my DH had to tag along to a bunch of message board meets from my hockey boards and when I started posting here he says "Am I going to have to meet all these people, too?" Muahahaha


I'm watching a lot of Philly because I want the Devils to lose as much as I want every other team to win. I just hate them too much. But my schedule is NOT matching up well with this round of the playoffs. I haven't been able to watch near as many games as I've wanted
Oh well, I guess I'll go for the Kings in the west now? Who knows!

Thanks Kathy so much! I am still floating on cloud nine! Well, you will be happy to know that we shopped all day yesterday and are completely done! No more trips to the mall for me .... the only thing we didn`t get to was Best Buy to get a battery for the darn laptop....she`ll do that tomorrow

i cant believe I have gone this long without them and of course my girlfriend told me she was happy I was with the times now I guess by buying them for her I should have thought of myself at the same time! I cant wait to get the pics of them up here....

F & W getaway sounds great....now, it's been awhile but does F & W eventually overlap with the Christmas decorations going up? My bff and I have always wanted to go together to take that all in so that might be a plan!

Congrats on your raise at work! I still can't believe how fast our trips are coming up! I feel like theres still so much to do! We also need to figure out when we will meet up! Maybe tuesday the 22nd, I see we will both be going to DHS that morning? I'll send you a pm with my number and info! Hearing that you have taken the suitcases out makes me so jealous! I will probably take them out in the next couple of days also and since it hasnt been as warm lately I can actually pack most of my clothes now haha

She's going today...she told me to tell you that you are "makeup soulmates" Obsessed is a great word....this weekend she bought the lip butter from revlon in 3 colors, a new mascara, and 2 new nail polishes! She thinks she needs to try every new product on the market. I have a feeling she'll also be stopping by the MAC counter today too
