I'm finally all caught up. What an incredible TR! I loved every minute of it.

HOW NEAT that Goofy took so much time with your family and really made your last day special. I bet he knew that your family needed another great memory for your last day. Isn't it funny how a character can just make your day? Michael and I were that way after meeting Mickey and Minnie!

And yay for Abby getting to be in FOTLK! I'm so glad that the CMs helped her find you all again. They're so great. (Oh--and thanks for the shout-out!! I feel like a celeb! )

I literally laughed so hard when I read about your EE ride! The Depressed Looking Teen and the Smack-Talking Kid. PRICELESS! But I'm so proud of you for riding by yourself!! Aren't you so glad you did?! I don't know if I'd have the courage, but if I'm ever in that situation, I'll be sure to remember that you did it...

Sorry that I have been so MIA! We have had two very busy weekends and I have so many exciting things to share!

Following Abby’s Give A Day and Disney on Ice birthday weekend, we had her American Girl birthday party on Saturday! It turned out great and the kids had a wonderful time!

I ordered American Girl party hats for the girls' dolls

We had the Kit movie on during the party

I placed American Girl books around the house to decorate with

I ordered Abby this cute shirt, bow and matching flip flops for the party.

When the guests got to our house, we started with the American Girl stations.

First was Julie. She is the 70s American Girl, so we set up a fondue station. It was lots of fun!

Next was the Josefina station.

She is from New Mexico and practiced blanket weaving with her family. I cut strips of felt and had the girls make their own blankets for their dolls!

We made our swing set into “Kit’s Tree House”. I just stapled leaves to make it look like it was in a tree and used chalk to make it festive. We had AG magazines and pillows up in the “tree house”.

Last was Molly. She had an American Stage Show to support the troops! We had music and dress up items as well as pens, stickers and paper to write letters to our troops. The girls loved putting them together. I am going to mail them to a friend’s fiancée that is stationed in Iraq.

After the stations, we opened presents and ate cake and ice-cream.

When the girls left, we had cute little favors for them. Inside was American Girl stickers, a “diamond” ring and a small bow for their dolls.

I had a picture of Abby and her doll put on the favors for a personalized touch.

Abby had a WONDERFUL day. She got lots of American Girl presents like a carry case, dog Honey, mini Molly doll and….her favorite new doll…Josefina!!

BUT I have to say that one of our favorite presents was this…

Toy Story Mania for Wii! Abby got a Wii from my in-laws for her birthday. My DH and I bought her Toy Story Mania and we obsessed with this game!! Gets us even more excited to go back and ride again

I also have some exciting news…

The Imagination Movers are from a small town about 40 minutes from my home in Louisiana. They even shoot their show there so that they are close to their wives and children, which I think is great. A girlfriend of mine even dated Mover Dave in college

Well, they were offering FREE concert tickets to locals for a promotion through the Disney Channel. They will be taping it for a Disney Channel special! Well, I got an email last minute from Ticketmaster about the opportunity. I was on right before 10am when they were to go “on sale”. I was on of the lucky FEW to get the tickets!! I was able to secure 6 of them for FREE!!

From what I heard, they were sold out in 7 minutes. I can not wait to report about the concert on my PTR!

I hope everyone had a great Mothers Day as well. I spent the day relaxing with my family and celebrating the best job in the world---being a mommy!!

I'm anxious to hear all about your GAD experience. Did you decide to go with free tickets or fastpasses? The parks were WAAAAY more crowded than expected this past week, so we were super glad we had those special FPs. They were amazing! Even when the other FPs ran out, we could still get them for the most part. I felt like a VIP!
