I wasn't sure what to title this thread, so I went with the Christmas idea!

Backround, I have an addiction to Target. I know this and so I avoid the stores at all cost! I also love housewares. That is my downfall. I needed printer ink and this week they had a special where you get a $5 giftcard with the purchase of printer ink. I went to a Target not in my town first. They had no HP black 21 printer ink which is what I needed. They did have a slushy maker marked down to $7.xx from $39.xx and a mini cupcake maker marked down to $6.xx from $29.xx. I KNOW I didn't need either, but DD loves to bake and makes cupcakes at least once a week so I could see it as something she would use. I love frozen margaritas so I knew it was something I would use.

Go to my local Target to get ink. They had my ink, they also had Farberware cookware marked down to $24.xx from $99.xx and who can't always use a new skillet or two or three. They also had an ice cream maker not sure of the original price, but at $12.xx I knew it was something I really needed. They also had a panini press for $9.xx marked down from $39.xx and lets face it,who doesn't love a good panini.

I brought it all home and put it in the living room and I swear we have had christmas mornings that haven't had that many boxes! I opened them all so Dh could take the boxes to recyle and its like an early chirstmas. In fact when DH came in he told me merry christmas and not to expect too much under the tree that I had taken care of that myself.

I know I really didn't need any of the things I got, but I sure will enjoy using them! Now I just have to find a place to store them!

We had to cancel all 3 of our vacations this year due to illnesses in our family, so I told DH I was entitled to some little treats since we were suppose to be on vacation this week and had to cancel it too! I told him my little buys were less than $100 and it was cheaper than taking us all to a character meal and I
can just make my own at home complete with a frozen drink, ice cream and cupcakes for dessert and a wonderful panini sandwich!

Sounds like all good buys! Can you gift any of them? Oh I guess not since you ripped up the boxes already!

I went in and out of there today with just the birthday present of the $15 spongebob lego.

I think I looked psycho- It was like I had blinders on not looking left to right just straight ahead. I didn't want to be tempted.

Merry Christmas I suppose!

Sounds like you got some great deals!

I love Target too, just reading your thread makes me want to go. :lmao:

I thought about gifting some of it, but I was so greedy I couldn't decide what I wanted to give up! I did see lots of things that I did pass by. I decided I really didn't need another George Foreman grill or a food processor or a wine opener or an electric kettle or a toaster (that was a hard one because it was only $3.xx). I forgot that I did get a mini processor for $2.xx. It was little so I forgot about it!

Last week I was there and got DD her college dorm stuff. Of course she is only in the 10th grade, but its never too early! She was so happy with the stuff that we went back and got her all new stuff for her room now. I think it was only $6.xx for a comforter, sheets and pillow cases. I also got her a mattress pad for both home and school and mattress toppers and pillow toppers. She said her bed is now like sleeping on a cloud!

I told you I was addicted and have to stay out of Targets. They are my kryptonite.

I love a good clearance too and was resisting all your great deals til you got to the bedding. Argh. I'd really like to find something new for my DDs. And I have a return to make there anyway... and I am dropping DH off at a party & have to drive home right past there today... hmmm, what to do???

Enjoy all your new toys!!!
