am putting day six and seven together as on day six it was rainy and so we decided to have a much needed rest day and recharge our batteries. We didnt do much dh played in the arcade whilst I took some video and photos around the resort. I treated myself to some cd's and a tote bag from the shop.
Day seven we went to Seaworld. This was originally planned for yesterday but we decided not to as the weather was not so good. It seemed strange after staying on the I Drive to be going to Seaworld from Disney. We made our way to MK and then to the transportation centre where we didnt have to wait too long to get a bus.
We arrive and decide to get our extra days on the way back as there is quite a wait. First stop was to head over to the Shamu stadium to watch believe. I sat next to a lovely little girl who was on a school trip I think and proceeded to tell me all about her mom and life in general. She offered to video the show for me but I politely declined. Neither dh or myself were very impressed with this show which was a shame as we were so looking forward to it. I do think that the girl who recites her CV could have been a bit shorted and for me it just lacked the wow factor that Shamu had, but saying that it was enjoyable we just decided we wouldnt rush back to see it again.
We had a walk to Dolphin Cove where they were doing a bit of dolphin training after which we made our way to see Blue Horizons my favourite of all. After this we were off to the hospitality tent where dh has his free beer and we had one of their stews.
A little stroll around having a laugh watching the Sea lions being fed as the birds were getting the fish before they did. We headed over to Journey of Atlantis which was about a 20 min wait or so giving me plenty of time to get the jitters. I always do this ride but I hate the before time thinking about it. Lol.
Back to see the dolphins and as it was feeding time we bought some fish and spent quite a long time here watching them. Time for an ice cream and a sit down at the ice cream parlour, I think we had to queue for 20 mins here just to get one. After which we went and had a look at the dolphin nursery for a while.
Not many photos of Seaworld but I did manage to use 2 video tapes, I really have to get dh to use the camera.
It was just after 4pm and we decided to head for the I Drive although I would have just loved to have got on the bus back to the hotel as I was so hot. I took my photos to Walgreens to have them put on disc, originally we were going to do some shopping whilst they were being done but I hadnt got the energy so we walked around to the Radisson and found a bench and sat down for ½ an hour. We took a slow walk (lol like there was a choice) back to Walgreens where we got my photos and a bit of shopping and it was back to the hotel.
We arrived back at Pop about 7:30 where we had something to eat and a lazy night me watching the weather channel where I was hoping that at least the forecast would get down to the middle eighties, which it never did.
