It was all started by a towel...

Mike - We will be dining at Yachtsman again next week. Ricardo wrote our ADR in his planner so he will know to expect us. LOVE him! I will definitely be contacting WDW about our impeccable service - he is such a gem!

Thanks, Jeff! My birthday isn't actually until Wednesday. I haven't started wearing my button yet. But I will. Soon. ;)

Today we hit MGM at 8 AM. Rode Toy Story mania first, got a FP for RnRC, traded pins, made some pressed pennies, rode Star Tours. I am not going to ride that anymore. Every year it bothers me a little more. Now I am completely finished with it! We grabbed some muffins at Writer's Stop, rode Great Movie Ride (YAY! It was the cowboy this time, not the gangster!) then went on RnRC. DS didn't want to do ToT today. He really doesn't like that ride, so we don't push him.

Loving the trip report honey! Keep it comin'. popcorn::

Thanks!! :goodvibes

Lunch was at Sci Fi. We just had burgers. The server was kind of confused about the Kid Picks, so I think DS was actually shorted an appetizer. But really, for under $8 to begin with, and minus the DDE discount, I wasn't going to argue about it. Some battles aren't worth it.

At some point we saw Sorceror Mickey and the UP! characters at the Animation Building, we walked through One Man's Dream, and DH announced he had a headache so we decided to call it a day!

We did a fair amount of pin trading today. I am working on the Alphabet Hidden Mickey pins. At least 5 of the ones I got today are counterfeit, so it is going to be a L O N G process. DS appears to have authentic pins in the sets he is collecting, so that's good. DH still claims he is not trading this trip, but I bet he will. Give him a few more days.

I can not figure out why PhotoBucket keeps reversing the order of my pics. It is making me angry!

We have a lot of variety in the animals outside. At first I wasn't thrilled with our view, but there have been a lot of animals out there!

Tonight we are having dinner with friends who are here from Massachusetts. Boma for dinner, then off to AK for PM EMH!

I hope you don't mind me hopping in here. I'm dying to go, but it's not in the cards this year so I'm soaking in all the great TRs! :lovestruc

Our birthdays are exactly a week apart!

We'll have to have birthday drinks this weekend!

YIKES!:scared1: Cockroach in the bathroom!

First of all, it was a cockroach, not one of those giant flying tree roach things. Second, I am terrified of roaches. Third, I am terrified of bringing roaches home in my luggage.

I was going down to pay our room charges anyway, so I told a manger downstairs that we had a roach. First she asked if we want a room change, but we are changing on Wednesday anyway so we'll just stay here. She said she will send Pest Control up to treat the room, so hopefully that will drive off any little friends that the bathroom roach has lurking nearby. Ick. He wasn't a very perky roach to begin with, so it seem whatever they treat with is at least semi-effective.

I had read on the DVC forum about people having roach issues, so I am thinking this is not an isolated incident. On the other hand, FL is a buggy place and the weather has been weird this year. I will try to be zen about the roach and hope I don't see another one. :rolleyes1

That is all you would have heard from me while running the opposite direction of the bug!!! That is what my husband calls my "bug call". It is the call to get him to come and kill it! :rotfl2: Loving the food pictures. I can't wait to hear about BOMAs. You are rolling along.

I think your room view is great!!! You seem to get a variety of animals.

It's Florida! Disney does a great job with pest control, but it's still Florida!

Well lets just say they do a good job with bugs, the mice are giving them a pretty hard time! They just wont leave!

Alright - I'm going to say this out loud.
And then brace myself for a right proper punishment.
I Don't Get The Appeal Of All This Pin Trading Meshugas!

There I said it.

Let the flogging begin.

We had a HUMONGOUS roach in the bathroom when we were at AKV last year...I swear it growled. I sent Bill in to deal with it. That's the only 1 we saw in our 10 days there.....but it did disgust me.

:rotfl2: Well, if it's a DISNEY cockroach, it's all good!
Just found this TR - thanks for taking the time to do a live TR! Makes me feel like I'm there. Can't wait for Boma pics - my favorite place at WDW!

Lovin' the live report, Elizabeth!

I don't do bugs either but better a Disney roach than a Texas roach!:lmao:

Living vicariously through your FANTASTIC trip report!! You are awesome for taking the time to share with everyone :worship:

Can't wait for more:mickeyjum
