It was all started by a towel...

Good morning Elizabeth! Glad you are feeling better.

I have declared that today is my "do over". Any birthday where you are soaked by a thunderstorm warrants a do over. So I will wear my birthday pin to MGM today. ;)

Tonight is dinner at Flying Fish, and a birthday cake from Boardwalk Bakery. Hopefully our favorite server will be there.

Sorry you had a rainy day. I hope today is much better. Keep it coming. I am loving it.

Dear Lord, what is that? "Honey I shrunk the Lobster?" :confused3

And Happy Birthday part Deux!
:cool1:

I'm loving your live updates! Makes me wish I was there already.

Holy cow! I think that rain yesterday caused about 5 million people to sprout up out of the ground!:scared1::scared1: It is CROWDED today!!

We didn't move fast enough this morning so we didn't make it to MGM until about 9:10 AM. It was PACKED! Return time for Toy Story was already 11 AM (our friends were already over there and she texted me). We went to RnRC and the return time was 11:15. Of course my FP machine was one that was eating paper tickets. Did the CM think to mention that before it was my turn? NO. So I had to go to the end of another line. From there DH and DS rode Star Tours. DS wanted to do Movie Ride but DH refused to stand in line. Um, hello? EVERYTHING had lines today, and I do mean EVERYTHING, including the restrooms.

We saw Lightning and Mader, walked through the AFI exhibit, went to the Animation Studio so DS could draw a character. From there we went back to RnRC. It was 11:45 and the FP return time was 5 PM. Toy Story stand-by was 70 minutes, Star Tours was 50. After we rode we went to Pizza Planet for lunch. CRAZY crowded. LONG lines, no empty tables, no CMs telling people not to sit down until they had their food (which we have seen at MK and it works quite well). We managed to snag a table outside in the shade so it wasn't too bad. After that we gave up.

When the bus stopped at Blizzard beach at 1:30 it was at capacity and the sign was sending people to Typhoon Lagoon.

We decided to hop off the bus at Kidani and see what it is like. It is much smaller/cozier than Jambo. The CMs were all very nice. We walked back to Jambo. Kind of a hot, boring stroll. But it only took about 7 minutes.

We grabbed some cookies in the lounge, now it is time for a nap!

Mike, it is a lobster TAIL. A tough lobster tail. I read on the Restaurant board that the tails are frozen so they are not as nice as the whole lobsters.

I have been following along your TR and just wanted to say how excited I am getting for our trip in 35 days!! I hope those crowds disappear so you can have a more relaxing rest of your trip!!

Storms approaching Disney!

Why do I have a feeling the Birthday Button is gonna get another workout tomorrow! :confused3

Well, that's OK! I heard a rumor that there will be some FABULOUS friends here to help me celebrate tomorrow night!

Kristine, she wants the evil little bat thing? That's very cool. I might have to buy one for myself if I can find them! :rotfl2:

Oh I can't wait for the Flying Fish review!

Sorry that the crowds were huge....Star Tours 50 min wait? Now that's crowded! Hope it dies down! Schools started here in our area today...maybe it won't be so bad!

The Cookie Gift was too sweet from your freind!!!!!

DS and Jon must have a thing for glow cubes...LOL!

Coming out of lurkdom for this...I love this live report. I feel like i am living the trip with you and your family. Humm I guess its time to get a laptop and start traveling with a computer. My husband would love it. I have always said no electronics in the bed room and no computers on vacation. But i also said no TV in the car and I changed my tune on that one 2.5 years ago. Thank You for sharing you trip, your birthday, and your family with us. :flower3:

I guess I must have bad luck. It always seems like the Star Tours line is one of the longest in the World when I go. :confused3

Star Tours was only 5 minutes when DH and DS rode about 9:40 AM. It was 40 minutes when we were going TO lunch, 50 minutes when we were coming FROM lunch. I wish I would have looked at stand-by times for ToT & RnRC.

Welcome, new posters! :goodvibes

Kristine, nothing better than plastic crap! :thumbsup2
