Tuesday 2 May
Today we were heading out to Kennedy Space Centre. We started our tour there with a talk by a real life astronaut. We then took the first 2 parts of the bus tour which was interesting. When we got back to the main bit of the visitors centre we had a look around the mock up of the Space Shuttle Explorer and then watched an IMAX movie by Tom Hanks about the moon.
We could have done with more time out here but Mum and Dad were going to the early showing of Cirque Du Soleil tonight and Dad wanted some rest time before they went.
We dropped Mum and Dad off for their visit to La Nouba. They have seen various Cirque shows and it is something that they had really been looking forward to. Me and Ric saw the show in 2002 and have since seen 2 other Cirque shows so were giving La Nouba a miss. We went for a wander around Downtown Disney, stopping off for a chocolate fudge sundae at Ghiradelli's (it has to be done really) and then went to get me a nice Mickey Mouse watch for my birthday.
As expected my parents LOVED La Nouba and were talking non stop about it and all the different acts. Dinner tonight was at Pebbles in the Crossroads centre at Lake Buena Vista. It was nice enough but not a place I would rush back to on every trip.
