It Truly was the Nightmare at Thanksgiving Disney Trip!- update 4/5 pg 10

I love the tour. I saw it on someone else's TR and it looks pretty entertaining. I still haven't decided what I want to do in Nassau. I would like to take a tour, but I think I rather go on my own if I can figure it out. Those flamiingoes aren't pink - they are orange.

Great update!

My heart completely breaks for your son and I'm so sorry that he had to go through that. My son is super small and often gets picked on for it. I just don't understand why kids are so mean.

Just now joining in! Can't wait for the rest of it! I am so sorry your son had to go through that, but I am glad you fought it out for him!!

New subscriber :)

I think that towel creature on the hanger might have been a bat!

I stayed in Nassau at a timeshare for a week waaaay back in the 90's - we just explored on our own (myself and a BFF) and loved using the public transportation -- every time you get on the bus every single person already on the bus says "good afternoon"...we thought it was so nice!

I am a late subscriber but Oh I am so loving your post, you are showing how to make Apple juice out of Green Apples, Thank you so much.
I so hope everything is going better for Jeremy in school, I too Have a child that is picked on and looks older yet she is young, she is 11 years old in 6th grade, actually one of the youngest in our Middle school in our small town. She is 5'7 and wears a woman's size 10 shoe, and size 13 juniors, she is picked on all the time and is so kind-hearted she will not say anything. :)

Oh Ericka, what a very unDisney like excursion... but it really does make a great story...

I do love the look on your face when the bird is "kissing" you... ;):lmao::lmao:

Jeremy looks like he was enjoying himself though...:goodvibes

So glad to see you back!

I love the pic of the 3 of you. I would have been terrified being just left there by the guide. Thank goodness he came back, but that is sure not good planning on their part.
The flamingos are so cute and your son seems to have fun, and that is what matters.

He walks us through the market and out to the street and then leaves us. He never says a word and just walks away. We are all looking at each other like what do we do now. It was pure chaos on the street!

Finally, two vans race up and the guy reappears and tells us to get in. The seats are all covered in plastic wrap. We get in and there isn't enough room. Wish I had took a picture because he pulled down a slot on the side of the aisle seats and told the people standing to sit down. :rotfl2: You couldn't help but laugh. It was so not like Disney and everyone was just amazed.

That would be a little scary. Definitely not Disney like! Glad they recaptured you and got you to where you were supposed to be. It's nice that your information about the tour can now help someone else with their trip planning. ::yes::
