I'm on hold for the 3rd call this week to Disney Technical Support :). I do enjoy the music, but I'd prefer an easier method :rolleyes2.

Today's problem was getting my Epcot fp's straightened out. As I was changing each fp, the old ones were not being replaced. It appeared as if I had about 10 fp's. Apparently, the system has to "catch up" sometimes. Between yesterday and today, I spent over an hour on this one park. It was easier to ask someone else to do it. She told me to give the system time to catch up. I promised her I wouldn't look at it until tomorrow ;).

Just a little "spoiler." ;)

For many guests, these "ghost FP+'s" never disappear from their MDE.
(But, they are not "good" for use at the attractions.)

Please post back and let us know if your little "ghosties" vanish in the daylight of tomorrow. :goodvibes

I have many of these ghost passes showing up on MDE. If you don't know which ones are legit, you can go to "change FP" and then only the three legit ones show up. You can write down the legit FP+s, and then click cancel. It isn't very convenience since the point is only having to use MDE, but I think I read somewhere that they were rolling out a new MDE soon that would fix these issues.

Oh, and WDW tech support through an email told me the same thing: that the system had to catch up. And it did catch up on a few of mine, but many more are still showing as "ghosts" and have been for 4 weeks now so I don't think they are disappearing ever.

We had 3 ghost FP+'s at Epcot. We tried to use one of them and we got the blue Mickey. The ghosts were showing on the app but we went to a kiosk we saw only our actual FP's.

Well, if you ask me, all "ghost" FP+s should be honored without question at HM. :hmghost:

The "ghost" fp's are still there this morning . I think I've spent a total of two hours just on trying to secure my Epcot fp's. I had fun planning my other days (despite my negative feelings about the new system), but this is just frustrating. My secured times are easy to remember, so I should be fine, but for some reason, its really bugging me :upsidedow.

How are we supposed to know which fastpass is real and which one is the ghost?

I originally booked tsm for 11-12. Now I have fastpasses for 10:10-11:10 & 11:05-12:05.

Any thoughts?

In my case, I had 2 of 3 ghosts disappear. A week later and the third one remains (Primeval Whirl no less - ugh).

I think if you call Disney, they should be able to tell which ones are "real."

yea my ghosts are still here since nov. disappear, i wouldn't count on it. i have 11 fp's for animal kingdom. just do what travelnicely (post #4) says and your 3 valid fp's will show up.
