It looks like Living with the Land is moving back to Tier 2 - tomorrow!

Just picked another morning of FP's for our trip for a morning that I had left open at my 60 day mark (unsure of what we'd want to do), and was so happy to find out I could pick Soarin, LWTL and SSE. I love LWTL but it is not tier 1 worthy - sometimes it can have a line building up, so I'd much rather FP that than Imagination or the Seas. I had a feeling it was going to be moved back to tier 2, just wasn't sure when they'd do it.

This one always confused me.

This is walk on every time I'm at the parks...does it get busier in peak times? Looking at posted wait times, it seems to average 8 minutes this month. Why bother with a FP+? And why was it EVER tier 1?

I agree

We've been in mid-June this year and last year, we never saw a wait for this attraction. We rode it SEVERAL times (this is what we did with the toddlers while we rider swapped Soarin') during the busy summer season.

The only time I've seen a line is during Christmas. And I've seen the queue totally full. As hard as that is to believe.
Granted, that time there was even a line for 3 Caballeros. That line stretched out to the sidewalk!

Believe it or not, I actually got the red card at LWTL in mid November lol. 40 minute posted wait time, and the queue was full. It was definitely not 40 minutes though, maybe 10-15. Never got a red card at this attraction before, it was funny.

I had to look up what a red card was! Never noticed them before, but then again we only went one day last year and the trip before that was in 2009 and I had little kids I was keeping track of. I think it would be fun to get one of those :-)

This is great news! I was having a quandry with our first Epcot day since we have lunch planned for Garden Grill and wanted to use our tier one FP for FAE. Character Spot and LWTL it is!

Is it true the Great Movie Ride is going to Tier 2 also? My dates for October don't open for another month (from today) so I can't check it out.

Great news! LwtL is one of DH's must-dos on every trip (so much so that I'm considering the Behind the Seeds tour!) - I'd rather FP it and then try to get a 4th for Nemo in the afternoon!

I'm curious to see how much this causes SB wait times to increase. Whats great about LWTL is that it was normally a walk on when it was Tier 1. Or you could always grab a 4FPs for it. I think that might change now.

I wish it would, but it doesn't look like it has as of yet. I just tried to switch a ToT to GMR and it wasn't showing as a possibility.
