It is SO crowded...mini trip report...

Day 1 Nov. 24th.

It is extremely crowded. We got in pretty close to first and my family took off for Nemo while my bro and I got FP for Space.

Did Nemo and headed to Pirates, BTMM where we got dream FP's. SO awesome because it was SO crowded.
We headed to DCA, did soaring, lunch, and went to go on TSMM but it was over an hour wait. Did screaming and King Triton's and TOT, Monsters and found Mr. Incredible.
We didn't see a whole lot of characters at all.
Someone threw up in front of TOT but man those amazing custodial CM's had it cleaned up SO fast it was amazing. They even MOPPED the sidewalk.

We went back to DL, did Buzz ate at the Pizza Port (gluten free Pizza for DD!!!) and did Space, Splash, HMH and that's it!

We got on everything we wanted to. Tomorrow is EE so we are turning in early. The crowds were pretty bad and we are wiped out because we didn't stop today.
I've got a huge blister on the bottom of my foot.


It's supposed to rain tomorrow

The Dream FP's were such a blessing. It made it SO much easier than running all over the place.

I have to say, after having bought annual passes for the next trip, I feel a sense of relief that we don't have to get up so early for early entry. It's a mixed blessing for sure.

Today was the last day of my trip and it was SOOO crowded. More than over the weekend. I thought it would have been slower but I was wrong about that!

loads of CA schools have this entire week off...doesnt surprise me in the least bit....this time of year probably wont be a least busy time anymore...Im afraid this weekend will be horrendous

Ya, I forgot about that. My kids are off track but there are 3 other tracks at school today and tomorrow. Since all the elementary schools around here are on a track system, I forgot about tradional schedules.

We had a good day and flew home tonight.

I'm really hoping this is true. I might go tomorrow, but I don't think the weather will keep people from going to the park cause all the rides are inside. I'm thinking about canceling because the crowds sound like they'll be a bit out of hand.

It'll work. When I went, it rained and rained hard. At first, you see everyone putting on their ponchos trying to brave the weather. Then people start busting out the umbrellas. After a while, we looked around and realized there were very few people left. We walked on every ride -- and froze our butts off as it was in January! By the time we left, my jeans were soaked all the way up to mid calf because the ponchos only go that far down the leg on me (and I'm short) and my socks and shoes were soaked as well. Cold, but had a lot of fun!

I'm not 100% sure! I think you cut out a hole for the blister itself, but other than that, not sure. It's just what I've always heard.

Every time I've done DL in the rain the crowds NEVER clear out. Everyone stays. I have yet to experience no crowds in the rain.

Wow how unfortunate. It rained every night we were there this last January, and the one night we stayed until park closing, we almost had the entire park to ourselves. We had the entire boat to ourselves on IASW and Pirates and all the other rides were walk ons including SM, HMH and Indy. It was freezing cold though. I remember my gloves got soaked as well as everything else, and that sucked because my hands were the only thing that were somewhat warm until the gloves got soaked. We had ponchos and umbrellas too and we still got soaked.
