It continues to get worse. One of my oldest friends passed away at 32.

Thanks for your prayers and good thoughts. I went to the viewing at the funeral home tonight and it was one of the hardest things I have ever done. There was a constant line of people down the block. She was well loved and will be missed by many.

Tomorrow is her funeral and the sheriff has arranged a full police burial.

I still feel as though I may shatter at any moment. The kids are at their grandparents for the night and it is giving me too much time to think. As long as I can keep busy I am all right.

I am sorry to hear such sad news. You gave a loving tribute to your friend. She sounds like she had an amazing spirit and strength of character. No one can answer why so many of the good die young. I will pray for her family, but I know firsthand that the pain of losing a loved one when they are still relatively young is a sharp, lasting pain.
