Can’t believe the week is finally here with a ton of emotion all over the place (leaving on Friday). Our trip is to celebrate the life of our 16 month old daughter that passed in April but also marks the start of our new fertility journey when we return from vacation.

Just going to be my wife and I on the trip, and we usually like to split our days in half so we can relax for a few hours at the resort when needed. Any non specified meals will be QS or breakfast items brought from home. I will plan to fill the gaps when I report. Hope this helps shed some light on the state of Disney, but keep in mind crowds etc. are likely to be lower than for the 50th celebration. Below is a brief outline of the trip. Check back for more:

Day 1-Quick flight from the ATL midspending 1 night at the Swan. Aiming for a half day in HS, and have an ADR for Topolino’s dinner

Day 2- AK in the morning, checking into Wilderness Lodge for the week midday, and then spending the afternoon/night in Disney Springs while watching some college football. ADR for Boathouse dinner

Day 3- Ohana ADR for breakfast before heading to Epcot for a few hours. Then have HS at night with ADR’s for a cocktail at Oga’s and Prime Time for dinner

Day 4- Magic Kingdom for the morning before spending some time either at Blizzard Beach or the hotel pool depending on how we feel. ADR at Whispering Canyon for dinner

Day 5-HS in the morning with AK at night. ADR to Tiffins for dinner

Day 6- ADR to Chef Mickey’s for breakfast , before some more pool at resort/Blizzard Beach time (we’re definitely a Typhoon Lagoon family, so bummed about that). We then plan to spend the night in MK and have an ADR to BOG for dinner

Day 7- Lounge for the morning before heading to Epcot to drink around the world in the afternoon/evening. Plan to split an adult beverage at each of the main countries , but do have an ADR for an early dinner at La Hacienda.

Day 8-Depart
