Issuing bank for Disney Visa?

For those of you who have Disney Visa cards, who is the issuing bank? I did a search yesterday and came up with links from Chase and Bank One, but I think they have merged because the Bank One link took me to a Chase site. I want the 6 months interest free option for our trip - that is the only thing we would charge on the card. We have a card with 6 mos. free interest on ALL purchases but now that our final payment is coming up the free interest period on that card is over!

I called and applied for the Chase card, but for future reference are there other banks with Disney Visa?

And yes, Bank One (the original issuer of the Disney Visa) and Chase have merged.

It was originally issued by Bank One, which has merged with Chase & they are going with the Chase name.

At the start of Disney Visa it was First-USA bank then they merged with Bank One and then they Merged with Chase where it remains today. As a charter member we have now been involved with all three Banks

Others have given you the history of the issuing bank merger changes, but I just wanted to add that only ONE bank at a time can offer the Disney Visa. Disney could in the future decided to sign an agreement with another bank instead of Chase, but then Chase would no longer be able to issue the Disney Visa.
