Do you have SCAL2? You could trace a coloring page image in SCAL2.

Thanks! Ok, I haven't done a lot of tracing!! I keep getting this double line thing that will make it screwy when cutting. I have tried playing with the trace settings and layers but I can't fix it. What am I doing wrong?

What I usually do is take the whole thing and copy and paste it on another page. Then, on one of them, select the whole image and go to object, break apart. There, you can delete the double lined areas and move around what you want to cut. If you can't figure it out, I may have time to work on it tomorrow.
