Isn't it the sweetest thing

when your kitty locks eyes with you, stretches, then proceeds to reach as high up as he can to give you a kiss? And I do mean a "kiss". He stretches up as far as he can, often standing only on his hind legs, and rubs his furry little face all over mine, purring like he's the happiest cat in the world.

Even if I'm having a bad day or I'm a little stressed or hurried, who can't stop long enough for a furbaby to kiss them?

And knowing he's not doing it because he wants money to go to the mall, or curfew extended by an hour, well I gotta say...it's one of the best warm, fuzzy moments in life!

I know what you mean!!! My lovey kitty is on my lap right now asking to get cudddled and settle down into the crook of my arm! She won't kiss or rub me with her face, but she is constantly stretching her soft little paw up to my nose, lips, or cheeks - all the time staring lovingly into my eyes. I think that is her way of "kissing" I just melt!!!!!!

This is the first time out of 5 cats, that one will do this. The other will/would rub you face if you bend down to them, but not the same thing.

my DD is pretty "huggy" too, but I know what you mean about unconditional love!!!!

I was thinking something similar this morning. I don't know how he does it, but Woodstock knows when I'm awake, even when I don't move. I'll wake up, and he'll get up from wherever he is on the bed, stretch, then come up, give me a kiss on the nose, and then plop down on my shoulder purring up a storm. I love it.

I love the love I get from my cats!! There is nothing like it. I've been lying down to nap in the afternoons recently and my one cat Dottie jumps right up and sleeps with me. I love that. My other cat Gabriel is more of the kissy one. He purrs and head butts you and touches his nose to mine. DH and I love them!
