I have most of my ADRs worked out. I hope Dave and I can sit down tonight and get some alternates....just in case. I really hope I don't need alternates because I really want some of the places on my list! Your ADRs are comming up sooner...right...I believe you check in before me. I am counting the 2 travel days before we arrive on our countdown.

We have had a couple more rough nights....we stayed at my parents house last weekend and Amelia would barely sleep at night. Which in turn made Dave and I get no sleep. She was scared being out of her own room so she ended up sleeping with us....which turned out to her wanting to sleep with us at home. Finally last night we got a good nights sleep! I was worried and kept waking up to check on her!

This is what she got for getting rid of the pacifier.

They make a product called "Thumb" that is supposed to taste bad so kids don't suck their thumbs. We have it at Walgreens. It could be worth a try!

September is a big month for us. Today is my and Dave's 3 year Anniversary! I was hoping to scan in a pic from our wedding but my scanner won't cooperate with me.

Dave suprised me last night with a bracelet that I saw at a store. He actually listened to what I said I wanted. He kept asking me all last night if I knew what I wanted and then he said "well I got you something already" he brought out this bracelet. The beads are separate...you can add more or change them. I thought it was pretty neat!

The 4th is my day to get up at 5am to reserve my ADRs.

The 5th we see Disney on Ice!

The 7th is my Birthday.

I am on vacation from the 8th to the 13th!

We get I phones on the 16th! (Dave has been patiently waiting since March! He wanted one then and we were not eligible for an upgrade....I was not paying $400 for a phone!)

With all of this excitement September should fly by pretty fast!

I got my DVD player in the mail last week. Amelia loves it. She watched movies on the way to my parent's house and no peep was heard out of her.

I was excited because it was my first upgrade. The company had run out of the model I ordered so they gave me the newer model at no extra charge.

I have started a new project. I am making applique shirts for Amelia. ( I figuered I might be able to do them cheeper than buying them) They have turned out to be easier than I thought. Here is my first one done. Ignore the messy hair....it was almost bathtime.

My mom finished the nemo dress and I have received hair bows for Amelia. I might be able to get pics of her in them later!

I love that bracelet! Did you know they make Disney beads that might fit it--depending on what brand of bracelet you have! Chamilia (sp?) beads has the disney ones! They even sell some of the beads for it at disney too!

I just got super excited to get Disney Beads! I can't remember the brand but I will try to go by the store sometime while we are off to check!

Dave has been wanting the I phone FOREVER! He has his own little countdown in his head I am excited to have the internet so I can play on my lunch.

The appliques were super easy. I got some iron on stuff from the fabric store and traced my pattern, applied the fabric and cut out the design. The hardest part was cutting out the design because my tracing was in pen and was a little dark to see. I did end up using embrodery (sp) thread around the edges of the applique they are not even but they have that cute shabby chic look. I can't use a sewing machine so this is next best thing! My next mission is to do an A on a shirt for Amelia.....I can't find a pattern for the letter though.

I have looked at them for almost 2 years now, ended up upgrading my phone with Sprint so we still have almost a year on our contract . Dave and I went to Brio last night for our Anniversary. We took Amelia with us. Our server was wonderful. He got our food out fast which was VERY helpful because Amelia had not been on her best behavior all day.

I went to a local bakery before Dave got home to get us a cake. The choices were very limited either carrot or lemon flavor....Dave HATES lemon. Then I saw a cake without a flavor sticker. I asked the employee what flavor it was and she went to the back to double check. She said it was yellow cake....great that is Dave's favorite. To our suprise when we cut the cake it was chocolate with some sort of pudding type filling......kinda gross! I don't really like the bakery cake icing so I wouldn't be eating much of it.

I have to get ready for work now. I work until 10 tonight. I hope I can sleep before I have to be up to make my ADRs. (If this is that bad just think what I will be like before we leave!) I am sure I will be on here as soon as I get my ADRs made. There is no one else that understands the victory or defeat of ADR making!

I was so excited because usually he doesn't want to go there because it is near the ritzy mall (the one with neiman and saks). So everyone I tell about Brio thinks it is expensive because of its location.

I hope they have the disney charms at WDW!

We ended up giving Amelia a dose of Benadryl for 2 nights to get her tired enough and used to her own bed again. She is now back in her own bed!

I am about ready to post my ADRs!

I woke up this morning at 4:40 am and decided per Veronica's suggestion to try to get online early....it worked!

I had to switch my two choices at Epcot....not a huge deal (really no deal at all).

My biggest complaint is that I didn't get Ohana for our arrival date.....I wanted so bad to watch Wishes from the beach then. I made the reservation for our open night. We had planned to either do Epcot or see the Epcot resorts that night. I was thinking about going to the Epcot resorts on our arrival night (we don't have park tickets for this day). Has anyone eaten at the Big River Grille and Brewing Works? Let me know....it is not one that takes reservations.


I going back to bed now to see if I can get some sleep before Amelia wakes up.....usually that is around 7am!

another tip along with the stuff that you have already gotten, we have already started to get our stock of glow sticks from michaels, they come in tubes over 15 for only 1 dollar, much much cheaper than buying light up stuff at disney, and at that price you can get some for each day.

since we have so long till our trip and pass a micheals a few times a week, we take the weekly 40% off coupon and just stop each week and get 1 tub, i know cheap of us, but i am planning on getting at least 30 tubes, (i like to play with them as well) so that is a good difference when buying that many.

i also give them out to kids at halloween when they come to our house to lite them up so they are safer at night.

I followed your December trip......Actually I lurked. I came in late and was pretty new to the boards so I don't think I posted. Great Report BTW. Your little one is sooooo cute!

Thanks for the light up suggestion....we got some for the 4th of July at a party store. I definately have them on my list to get. That is such a cool idea to give them out at Halloween!

HOW COOL!!! We have to make sure and get a pic of all of us at Tusker house--it will be fun to see a DIS'er in real life I'm glad you got online early and it went thru! I was totally shocked when it worked before 6am, but hey all good for us Big River is a Tenn Company, but that's all I know about it...

Glad Amelia liked Disney On Ice, my SIL wanted to take GC to see Nemo on Ice with my nephew, but when I showed GC the video on the website, she said no, no, no. So she won't be going, lol.
