Isn't Gabriel too young to go? Heck NO!!! We are on the road! Pics coming!

Thanks! That is what I was thinking, too!

A tiny bit of Disney here at home. This is a Dole Whip Daisy! It is Vanilla, Orange, and Strawberry Dole Whip! They have one with Pineapple instead of Van., but I like to tone down the fruitiness some. The best flavor, I think, however, is Raspberry!!!! Yummmmmm!!! BTW, this little ice cream shop just opened late Spring and is 10min. from home! It is such a small area, though, that they are only open Thur- Sunin the afternoons and evenings and onlyserveone flavor of DW at a time.

OMGosh that looks so YuMMMMMMMMMyyyy

After some thinking last night about this timing dilemma, I am thinking we need to be in WDW by noon on Oct 22.

Not only do we have ressies at CP at 4:30, but I am also hoping to go to MNSSHP this year on the same evening. It will be our first time! Isabelle is going to be Princess Tiana for Halloween and Gabriel is going to be a Frog!!!
The-Princess-And-The-Frog-2010--Cd-Cover-29980.jpg

I love the idea of the children going to CP as the princess and the frog, If only Gabriel was a big bigger I would have sent you Max's frog costume he wore to Calliope's Disney Princess Party last year. I will try and locate a photo for you.

So am thinking.... On Thursday, Matt, Gabriel, and I will surprise Isabelle by having lunch with her at school, Disney goody bad in tow! Then leave after, which is about noon.
YOU are the COOLEST MUMMA and DADDA I would flip if my parents had even come to my school to have lunch with me not to mention how excited I would be to think that I would be getting the biggest suprise a trip to WDW. WOW
Which means we should make it to Tifton by midnight... :(

And WDW is only 4 and a half hours away!!!

Ok, this is bugging me! I had planned for Isabelle to wear this to Fantasmic,

WOW I just love this outfit. Can I have one in size 20 lollllll big girls !!!
But I found this super cute design, since we are eating at Teppan Edo that evening. I could make something with this on it!

CUTE !!! CUTE !!!! CUTE !!! My friends just went to Disney Sea Japan, I wish I had made seen this I would have printed it for my God Daughter Layla. princess:

She can always wear Steamboat Willie elsewhere. WWYD????? AND IF you made an outfit with above design, what king of fabric do you think you would use? Something Japanese-y?

 Jennifer!!! Lisa, unfortunately, did not make the Audrey that big! I wish, though!!! How is your sewing coming along?

We decided, since we are driving, to bump our trip forward a day. It works better (since we have to drive) with Matt's work schedule and Isabelle's school. This way we will leave when Matt gets home from work Friday morning (he will be getting home from working his Friday). And since we would have been leaving WDW on Wed and not getting home until Thur, we just moved it up. Isabelle will miss 4 days of school thisway, but was going to miss 3.5 the other way. And Matt gets to work a full week before.

In other news, I just saw Winnie the Pooh ride will be in refurb starting 10/25. That and getting there a day later means we will do MK on Oct.23, when we arrive. Then Epcot in the evening.

Oct 22

Matt gets off work at 8:30 AM EST. I figure I will meet him in Evansville at 9AM, since we will go that way anyway. Gains us about 2 hrs!;) Of course, the van will be packed the day before. I still think we may surprise Isabelle at school the day before!:goodvibes

Around noon we will stop for lunch. I plan to take a cooler, we may find a nice spot for a picnic. I will research it some. Then about 6PM we willget some dinner. We will plan to stop in Valdosta, no later than midnight. Also we will plan to stop as neded to let the kids move about and me nurse Gabriel. I am planning to take my pump, as we have an inverter in the van, too.

Oct 23

I'd like to be on the road by 6:30. We will have breakfast in the car in our hotel doesn't have a breakfast.

We should arrive in WDW about 10AM. My plan is to check in, grab and split a CS meal at Pop FC and head to MK. We will trek back to Fantasyland, since one of the most important "to-dos" is Winnie the Pooh ride. It is scheduled to start refurb 10/25.

I changed our ressie for this day b/c of the refurb. We now have an early dinner at Crystal Palace at 3:20.

After our meal we will likely head back to Pop and move into our room.

After a rest we will probably head to Epcot. It is EMH at MK, so I fear the crowds may be scary!:scared1:

Hey Alicia!

I've been reading, just haven't posted much, all caught up now, too! Love Isabelles Steamboat skirt, so cute!:cutie: And how adorable will the kids costumes be if you make them Tiana and the frog?!! Are you making the costumes? I can't wait to see the pictures of that! SO CUTE!!!!!

So glad you guys are going next month, it's getting so close now!!!!

Ahhhhh, oh my gosh you started it!!! YAY!!!

You know I am here girl!!!! I am so excited!!

Hi Kristen and Heather!!

I wasn't sure I would have time to make the costumes. I mentioned that onthe Disboutique thread and a friend on there is sending me a Tiana dress she made!!! I am so excited! I haven't told Isabelle, yet! I want to surprise her!!! BTW, Kristen, I have bee reading along with you, too. I don't post too often, b/c I am usually nursing while reading and typing, too, gets tricky!

The frog is trickier. I have looked at some frogs, but they either look chinsey or gaudy! I did find some really cute frog "bonnets" on Etsy that I am thinking about getting! I'll find a pic!

Do you think itwill be too warm for MNSSHP in the end of Oct?

Joining in a bit late to the game!

Almost had to stop reading after your first page and hearing about your angel. Just heartbreaking, I am so sorry for your loss!!

But I am so interested in all of your thoughts and plans for taking your little guy. We might be going in March and my DS1 will be 3 YO and my DS2 will be only 3 months! So interested in hearing how BFing and coping with such alittle one goes for you.

By the way, we went last year, last week in Oct. There was record breaking heat, it was crazy! BUT the parks were empty, longest line we were in was 15mins and that was for Pirates!! So there are advantages. Also, we didn't really make too many ADRs for days we planned to be in Epcot, with F&W going on, we just ate our way around the showcase, it was fabulous!!

So excited that you're going back so soon! Love MNSSHP, F&WF & Teppan Edo--great choices! Looking forward to following along!

And you're right--there's no such thing as too young. My ds's 1st trip to DL was when he was 4.5 months old--almost exactly the same age as Gabriel will be. I always tell people it's the easiest trip we've ever had with him, lol.

Hi Lori and thanks for sticking it out!! I am hoping it won't be so hot this year, DH doesn't like the heat.

Hi Jennifer!!! I love F&W. We got to visit F&W in 07 when we went with Levi. I am so excited to go back!!

Went to JCP yesterday and got these wo items off the clearance rack!

This was $1.97! He probably won't wear it to wdw, maybe to sleep in, as it will probably be cool. But 1.97!!!!
SANY4286.jpg

I thought this was so cute and he is outgrown most of his summer clothes, yet I hate to buy much. It is Sept, afterall! Then I thought, "this might be cute with a little Stitch on it for breakfast at Ohana!" We shall see!!
SANY4285.jpg

In addition to a froggy hat (see above) and possibly a sweater (it ill be cooler here at home, for sure!) for Gabriel's costume, I am going to embroider a yellow crown and "free kisses" on something, likely green. He has a romper with a similar design , but I think he will outgrow it before then. And then maybe some baby leggings. Like these...

And wouldn't this be cute? I probably won't get to it, though...

I ordered a baby sling Monday form this site: http://www.sleepingbaby.net/index.php
This isn't the color I ordered. But I wanted to give you an idea. I ordered French Twill in Cocoa, but if she gets Spring Green in soon, that is the color it will be.

And because I wanted a bit of Disney I am having a tail accent added with this:
Medium_CV-552.jpg

Still classy, right!?

Oooh I am going to check that site out!! I have a nursing cover from Uddercovers and they just started a line of slings. So they sent me a promo code for a free sling, I onlyhad to pay shipping. I figured why not, if I don' tlike it I will just put it in my pile of things I will pass along to the next person i know who has a baby! But it isn't a ring sling and I keep reading how much easier they are. Let em know how you like yours! Because I am not sure how I will like a sling at all, I am also planning on getting an Ergo or BEco carrier!!

Another sling baby! I LOVED my maya wrap (http://www.mayawrap.com/), and so did Jaden. He practically lived in it for over a year, and it was a life saver for that first trip to DL. We didn't even bother with a stroller on that trip. I just carried him everywhere and it was so convenient for feeding when paired with a nursing top.

What's funny is people at school and around town still talk about it. When they see me with Jaden they ask if he was the baby from the sling, lol.

Really Jennifer? If I get mine soon and can practice enough, I may do that for the most part. I am still taking the stroller, though. A fellow Diser sent me a sling. I can't quite get it. It has padded rails, though. I think that is why I am struggling. It will be great for cooler days here at home that are right around the corner!

It has been a rough day, friends. A family in our community lost their 22 month old pretty much the same way I lost my Levi. It has brought up alot of hard memories.

This morning before I found out, I went to have Gabriel weighed and get some help with my milk issue. Anyway, my little 14 week old isn't so little, he weighs 16.7 lbs!!!

Many prayers and warm thoughts out to that family and to you as well, I am sure it has brought up a lot of emotions for you too!

And woot woot for Gabriel!!!! Get any good advice form the docs on the milk topic?!

Not really, Lori. My MD is doing Thyroid bloodwork. Reglan sounds way too scary! I think I got it under control. I got set up to pump both sides at a time, I ws only set up for 1. I am taking 2 fenugreek capsules, 3x a day. Washing the down with Mother's Milk tea. And I currently have 3 bottles waiting in the fridge!!!
