Isn't Gabriel too young to go? Heck NO!!! We are on the road! Pics coming!

Hi Alicia,
Finally made it over here to check out your PTR :goodvibes. Reading the beginning of your trippie is still so heartbreaking. Your such a strong lady and I admire you so much! Anyway Gabriel is so adorable and I think I told you on FB, I love that outfit on Isabelle! Sorry about you having to possibly drive to Disney. That must be awfully :sad2: hard for you for your family. Any chance you can fly out of another airport/airline? Maybe the prices will drop just keep watching. We sometimes fly and sometimes drive. I don't mind driving but I watch the rode like a maniac the whole way. Anyway I'm excited to read all about your trip and your plans.

Hi Nichole! Thanks for coming over! I am going to keep watching. I just keep hoping they will drop.

I am just making it here.. So glad you are able to make the trip in October. Love the Custom you made Isabelle...so cute. I am loving the Audrey skirt. Gabriel is sooooo cute.

To answer your question...I have never been to Maya but have been to Teppan Exo and we love it. It is very entertaining, and I am pretty sure they can accommodate a high chair.

Can't wait to read more about your trip.

Finally made it over too! Don't have any advice on dinner as we haven't eaten at either place. Sara Beth did not do well with Fantasmic when she was younger due to the noise, but she seems to have problems with loud noises!

That's what I am afraid of. Levi didn't like fireworks when we were there, but he slept through Fantasmic. Glad you are here!

On this day last year I was in Animal Kingdom on pins and needles waiting for word... My sister was being induced with her first baby and was going to have a c- section. I was missing the birth of my first nephew. Finally the word came! He was here!!! I rushed to get his first book, a story about Mickey Mouse and his b...ear and silently promised to make it up to him and get him to WDW someday!Today is his first birthday. I have sick children and I am going to miss it... :( So, Gunner, Happy Birthday Sweetie. Auntie 'licia loves you and I am sorry! But we will get to WDW someday!!! Here is a photo of me right after I heard he was born. I had been crying, squeeling, and celebrating! So I got a celebration button to show it!

Teppen Edo for sure! It is our favorite place to eat! I love me some steak and chicken. They can put high chairs at the table, they'll put it off the corner (which really annoys me when the child is older). Works super well when they are younger though.

Dallas loved fireworks from the day he was born, so maybe Gabrielle will like them, or atleast sleep through them. I also think the earlier eating time would be better if you want to make sure you get to see Fantasmic, especially since it is the only show.

On to Sunday!

I think it will be a good day to spend at Epcot! When isn't it? lol!

Biggest plan for the day? Soarin and F&W, of course!!!

I think we will have dinner at Teppan Edo, it sounds wonderful! And it is much more practical.

Then it is off to DHS!!! Maybe a spin on TSM and Fantasmic!

DHS has EMH on the 24th. We may try the Great Movie Ride and VLM, too.

Thanks, Jessica! I think you are right, the earlier time is better! I sure hope Gabriel will sit or sleep through it!

Ok, this is bugging me! I had planned for Isabelle to wear this to Fantasmic,

But I found this super cute design, since we are eating at Teppan Edo that evening. I could make something with this on it!

She can always wear Steamboat Willie elsewhere. WWYD????? AND IF you made an outfit with above design, what king of fabric do you think you would use? Something Japanese-y?

Glad I didn't miss your TR!!! Now to go back and catch up on what I missed!!

Hey Alicia! Nope, there hasn't been much to miss! A lot of plans changing, dates changing, etc... LOL!

According to this website:

http://www.fuelcostcalculator.com/TripGasprice.aspx

If we have to drive (which is likely) Gas will cost us just under $200 rt. I most crtainly can't beat that. Sadly...

If we leave Thursday and we stop on the way, another $100. Food about $60. We will probably pack snacks and lunch and have a picnic somewhere. I will BRB with more precise details.

Ok, so I am thinking on Thursday, Oct. 21 we will head to Isabelle's school and pick her up, packed and ready to go.

*By the way, Isabelle knows we are going to Disney, we are always going to Disney, but she doesn't know when! I am thinking of posibilities to surprise her. One is having a Disney themed gift pack for the car delivered to school!*

We are on Disney time, so if we leave around 3PM here, it's 3PM there, too.

But I am thinking about getting her a bit early (it will be like a Friday, since thefollowing Friday and Monday are Fall break), maybe 2PM, to avoid hassle.

We will stop to stretch our legs an get gas as needed. I am going to take my pump, in hopes to help ease feedings some. We will also stop for dinner. Matt works midnights, so he will want to drive late. :scared:

I think Pricelining a hotel will help avoid him driving until 2AM. So here is the question... Just before Atlanta, or just after? It takes us about 7 hrs to get to Atlanta. That will put us stopping about 11PM.

We will try to get up and going early Friday morning. I would like to be on the road by 7AM, of course, if we stop before Atlanta that won't be a good time. I guess we ned to stop after. Afterall, how bad can Atlanta be at 10PM on a Thurs? It's those darn mountains that scare me!

So about 6.5 hours to go, not including stops! This is where our picnic lunch will come in! If we choose that.

We should arrive at WDW's gates by 2PMish. Check-in and get ready for dinner at Crysal Palace at 4:30. Pushing it aren't we??? Hmmm, this may need tweaking....

And I leave you for the night withthis. This has to be the most gorgeous fireworks photo I have EVER seen!!!http://www.flickr.com/photos/jayandruckow/4720335199/in/photostream/

After some thinking last night about this timing dilemma, I am thinking we need to be in WDW by noon on Oct 22.

Not only do we have ressies at CP at 4:30, but I am also hoping to go to MNSSHP this year on the same evening. It will be our first time! Isabelle is going to be Princess Tiana for Halloween and Gabriel is going to be a Frog!!!

So am thinking.... On Thursday, Matt, Gabriel, and I will surprise Isabelle by having lunch with her at school, Disney goody bad in tow! Then leave after, which is about noon.

Which means we should make it to Tifton by midnight... :(

And WDW is only 4 and a half hours away!!!

There is, however, a slight possibility that we will fly with Allegiant. The good news is that the airport for this line is only an hour away and sometimes their flights get down to $20-$30 each way. Bad news is they only fly on Thurs and Sun AND NOT to MCO. We would have to add two night, one before and one at the end and pay for transportation to WDW. So it is probably not going to happen.

I love your "have lunch with disney surprise bag in tow" then leave right after. Can't wait to see the princess and her frog....how adorable!!! So what's the dilemma?:confused3

Planning the drive is still irking me, Cathy! But I was referring to post #50 as my dlemma! ;)

Glad you are getting to plan another trip. Looks like fun!

When we drive up North and plan a stop around Atlanta, we always stop on the other side. Much easier to get through in the evening than in the morning with work traffic. Also don't go through downtown, take the loop around. Much easier and the traffic isn't as bad.

Thanks! That is what I was thinking, too!

A tiny bit of Disney here at home. This is a Dole Whip Daisy! It is Vanilla, Orange, and Strawberry Dole Whip! They have one with Pineapple instead of Van., but I like to tone down the fruitiness some. The best flavor, I think, however, is Raspberry!!!! Yummmmmm!!! BTW, this little ice cream shop just opened late Spring and is 10min. from home! It is such a small area, though, that they are only open Thur- Sunin the afternoons and evenings and onlyserveone flavor of DW at a time.
