Isn't Gabriel too young to go? Heck NO!!! We are on the road! Pics coming!

Matt goes back on days, probably just next week. I am hoping we know more then.

Meanwhile, I can't wait anymore, I HAVE to get started on customs. I figured I am safe to work on Isabelle's. B/c we can always layer her in leggings, pants, long sleeve shirts under.... You get my point. A couple of days ago I bought a fellow diser's skirt pattern, the Audrey. I have at least 2 outfits planned with it, maybe 3. The first is a Mickey set featuring Steamboat Willie. I got an applique fom another diser. I got it all stitched out last night.

Now I have to piece the skirt together and work on ruffles!!!

Love the Steamboat Willie!!!! Its going to be great! Do you have Carla's bowling shirt pattern??? Its perfect for Disney apps! :goodvibes Glad to hear Matt is working and I am hoping you still get to go on vacay!!! pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

Thanks Cathy!!! I need the bowling shirt pattern, it's one of few I don't have of Carla's.

I have news to share, but hard to type it all with baby...

So what do you think?

Ok, so it doesn't look like there is any availability for Thurs, oct 21, according to my TA Tanya. It's hard to plan out days not knowing for sure...??? I don't even know what time our flight will be, since I haven't booked it yet. Matt may decide he wants to drive, though. We really don't like driving anymore, but flights seem high.

I am so excited I need to do something! Since I can't sew this second, I am going to fast forward and plan Saturday, day 2! BTW, this will be our first time getting Hoppers. So things are very subject to change! Also, this is a bit different of a time for us, too. We went half of the first week of October in 2007. But being 2-3 weeks later, I amhoping will give us pleasant weather!

Can anyone report on the end of October in their experience?

Day 2

We may do MNSSHP the previous night, so a bit of rest will be good. Once we get going, we will probably head to AK, it's Isabelle's favorite!

When we are at AK, we always eat at Pizzafari. Matt and I love the Italian Sandwich and it is indoors! If it is cool enough, however, we may try Yak and Yeti CS.

We will try to get in Kilimanjaro Safari and a nie walk through Africa before lunch.

After lunch it will probably be time to head to our room for a break, depending on how Gabriel does. Levi slept in his stroller, but Matt still thought we needed that midday break. Matt was usually the only one sleeping!!! LOL!!

In the afternoon, we will head to Epcot. I am SO looking forward to F&W!!!

But, WS will wait a bit! First we will probably head to the seas, land, and imagination pavillions! Soarin is my FAVORITE ride!!! We will do parent swap here.

We have dinner ressies at Rose and Crown. We went there last year, but Matt really likes it, so we are going to go again!
- I am thinking Pooh customs for the kids would be nice!!!

We might try to catch a bit of Night Ranger, but more than likely hearing as we roam WS will be ok! It would be nice to catch Off Kilter though! Seems I am always just passing through.

We will see how Gabriel does with fireworks. Levi didn't like them at all. Hopefully, I will get to see Illuminations!

This past October (end of Oct) was super hot...but I think that was unusual. Don't expect it to be cool either. How's that for clarity? :confused3

I finished this kirt for Isabelle! I think she is going to wear it on the 24th to see Fantasmic!

It's difficult t figure out what kind of customs to make her, because she is getting so grown up. :(

She'll never be too old for customs! I see Isabelle as that sweet little girl in her ice cream dress, so she always be that way for me!

What an adorable skirt! I really gotta get around to making one myself!!! You did a great job on the app too! I love it in the heart!!!!

Hey Alicia....is this Jeanne???????

I thought the exact same thing when I saw this picture!!! Jeanne, why didn't you tell us you were Alice????

Alicia, this is adorable!!! I don't think Isabelle will ever be too old for customs! Arminda still wears them and she is 12! The little neighbor girl wants me to make her somethings if she goes to Disney and she's almost 13. :thumbsup2

Yep, I loved that little dress! :lovestruc

Gabriel is learning to sit up and to pull his toys to his face when I lay them on his chest while sitting. Here he is playing with his Pooh yesterday!

Thank you Cathy! I, actually, put Willie on red, planning to make the wrap part of the skirt in red, but once I printed the pattern, I realized it was too short. It was a cute fix!

Thanks Teresa! I hope she keeps being ok with it!

HOLY COW!!! I am afraid we may HAVE to drive this year.... :( Air tickets are a minimum of $185 rt/pp for nonstop. AND that is flying out at 7PM! YUCK!

Any bright ideas? We drove to Disney last in 08. I was petrified the whole time...Thoughts of loosing anyone else in my family make me paranoid!

It's about the same with one stop.

Hey, you've been talking about me!:lmao: Why YES, that was me! I wish! Love the new skirt! And I can't believe how much Gabriel is growing up. Jayden wants to come babysit for you!

I haven't been on the boards in so long I didn't even realize I had a ticker! :rotfl: Now I need to check and see if it has my dates right.

Hi Alicia,
Finally made it over here to check out your PTR :goodvibes. Reading the beginning of your trippie is still so heartbreaking. Your such a strong lady and I admire you so much! Anyway Gabriel is so adorable and I think I told you on FB, I love that outfit on Isabelle! Sorry about you having to possibly drive to Disney. That must be awfully :sad2: hard for you for your family. Any chance you can fly out of another airport/airline? Maybe the prices will drop just keep watching. We sometimes fly and sometimes drive. I don't mind driving but I watch the rode like a maniac the whole way. Anyway I'm excited to read all about your trip and your plans.

During our trip, the 24th is the only day that has Fantasmic scheduled. It's my favorite night show! So I made early dinner ressies. Problem is I made 2 of them! Maya Grill @ 5:15 and Teppan Edo @ 4PM. Fantasmic is at 7:30. I don't HAVE to be in the front. Especially considering I don't know how Gabriel is going to react. So getting to DHS by 7PM should be adequate. So where do we eat?

We have never been to either restraunt. at Teppan Edo I would probably get Asakusa or Ueno. We went to a hibachi grill in Denver and we liked it. It's similar. Matt askedabout Teppan, that is why I made this ressie (I made it 2nd). Looking at the seating concerns me though, will it have somewhere for a high chair?

At Maya I would probably have the salmon dish. Matt is a beef lover, that is part of the reason I made this ressie. The other being that I have always wanted to stay at CSR, it never works out. I really want to look around. It may be inconvienient due to transportation, though.

So, input? experience?
