We are thinking of doing this on our departure day, and our flight leaves at 8pm out of MCO. We would get there at opening, and stay until around 5pm on a Monday. Does this give us enough time to see major attractions? My son is interested in HP, so that is our main focus. My daughter is only 45", so we won't be able to do anything with a height requirement over that, so that eliminates some stuff I'm sure. Thanks for any advice :)

Well depends on your endurance level, but 8 hours should be plenty of time to do the park and most if not all of the rides, unless you don't have a fast pass and for some reason its crazy busy that day, and even then, 8 hours is probably enough. I am the type however that will do 5 or 6 hours take a break at the hotel and go back for another 5 or 6 hours

Also depends on when you go, I guess.

We go every year on the Thursday after Thanksgiving, and do both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure in one day and have plenty of time to ride all of the rides multiple times. I would assume during peak times, this would be a lot harder to do.

When are you visiting?

I'm pretty sure April after any spring break (if there are any in April) should be a good month all the way around, light crowds too.

Oh, 8 hours is plenty!
However, I'm not entirely sure of the height requirements on each ride, but most of the rides there are for older kids. I think your daughter will enjoy the Suess landing, though, and I'm pretty sure she'll be able to go on the Spider-Man ride.

I agree...it shouldn't be an issue to spend the day at IoA and do everything you want.

Thanks everyone! I think we're going to do it.

My other question is about renting a car. We are only going to WDW for the weekend for my niece's birthday. So we were taking ME on Friday to the hotel, back to the airport on Monday night. Is it possible to rent a car for 24 hours? Will anyone deliver a car on Sunday night? Otherwise I can just rent for the entire weekend and nix ME, which is probably the easiest option. But so far the rates are $$$
