Island Tower terrace gardens on NYE

This is the second year the Island Tower is open for NYE. Does anyone have any experience with watching the NYE fireworks from the Terrace Gardens?

Did people get there early and stake out a spot at 10AM like it’s a Henry Winkler candlelight processional? Is it true that only tower guests can access those Gardens?

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I do know only tower guests can access the gardens. I cannot speak to NYE.

You must be staying in the tower (not just Polynesian in general) to access the gardens.
