We want to go down to Disney in October of next year (Yes, I plan ahead!). I was looking at Island One Resorts. They seem to have several properties, and the one I am most interested in is Parkway International Resort. Its about 2 miles from Disney, and they are all 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suites.
Has anyone stayed there? Any thoughts? I've read some reviews, and people say that its very nice, but they pressure you to do the free buyers breakfast... Not into that at all!

Anyway, any reviews would be great - Thanks!!!!

We stayed there about 5 years ago and really enjoyed our stay. So much so that we are going back and staying this Sunday for a week. It is a smaller resort which we like, has a very nice pool and hot tub as well as a pretty good pool bar. The rooms are somewhat jungle themed and are a great size. We did receive a call for a timeshare presentation but we just said we already own one and was not interested and they left us alone. Location of this resort was fabulous and one of the reasons we are going back.

Thanks! Hope you have a great stay again!!!

we stayed there in 2008 and loved it - it is all 2 bedrooms but just be aware the second bedroom is 2 twin beds - this has been our favorite timeshare resort that we have stayed at in orlando. we had a first floor room right by the pool.
if you have any specific questions let me know

The two twins in the second bedroom is great for us - Though our two daughters are OK sleeping together, its much better when they sleep in their own beds! :hyper2:

My family has stayed at the parkway on several occasions. it is a very small resort in itself . The rooms have always been clean and have ample space.(we travel with 8) Second bedrrom does only have twin beds which is dissapointing as many resort have double beds in 2nd bdrm. Lots of activities and the pool is nice. we love the boardwalk trails alll through the resort as it is connected to the other prkway resort out back. Close to stores- the boardwalks go right out to one stip that has a small store for light shopping in emergencies. So close to Disney its great- you pull onto 192 and take the first right into Disney. I would reccomend this resort to people interested. be happy to awnser any questions you might have.

Well sadly we are back from our vacation but I just wanted to let you know that the Parkway International was a great stay once again. Clean rooms and a great location. A few small negatives - the internet , which you have to pay for, is very slow and not always working. Also, on our last night the hot tub was cold, but all the other nights it was very hot. Besides those two small things everything else was great. No problem with the timeshare pitch we just told them we were not interested and they left us alone.
