I just started to wonder who else BESIDES me has NOT put their Christmas Tree up. :confused3

I put mine up this past weekend and decorated the house too. Yesterday I started wrapping the gifts. I put on some Xmas music and got in the mood. Glad it is done now.

You are not alone...ours isn't up yet either...and to be honest, if it doesn't go up soon, we're going to end up doing what we did last year. We bought a small live tree (in a pot 'cause I was gonna plant it in the yard) and put some lights on it and that was it!!! Of course, all my good intentions went right out the window with that tree...it ended up dying in the pot and we just threw it out!!! :guilty:

I hav twenty decorated trees in my house. We start the day after Thanksgiving. I was pretty much done, then last Friday night went out and bought one more.

No Christmas tree or decorations here yet.. Hopefully this weekend.. :flower:

Wow! What size are these trees! Where do you put them all?

I said something to my Boss today about getting the office tree up. He told me to was too late. :confused3

I am going to try and get mine this week.

I like your way of thinking..... :rotfl2:

Nope.
however we decided NOT to even bother putting one up this year.
1. we're never home on christmas eve/day
2. we dont' have kids yet.
3. it's a big job for one person. (DH did take it down by himself last year though...have to give him credit for that.)

Just one less hassle for me this year...in all honesty, no big deal. once we have kids, yes, it'll go back up.

No. And to be honest, I just don't even feel like putting it up! Perhaps I'll borrow one of the other poster's ideas and just get a small potted tree and put a few lights on it.

We've had 2 deaths in the family and a failed adoption this year in a 5 month time frame (from April-September) and I just don't feel very holly or jolly. :guilty:

The last Christmas that my DH & I spent in our own home was a rough one.. His health was failing quickly and I was plum tired out.. Because of our granddaughter though, we decided we had to have "some" kind of tree, so I went out and got one of those pretty pink Disney tabletop trees.. I got some miniature decorations (along with some Disney ones) and had her help me put the tree up.. She thought it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen and we had a "tree" without a lot of work..

It "worked" for us - made the house festive and yet I didn't have to knock myself out trying to deal with a big tree on my own..:)

Christmas is what you make it - big tree, little tree, or no tree.. :flower:

No, we cut down a tree each year and we will do that this weekend. I would do it the following weekend but we are at DH's family for Christmas that weekend.

We put ours up this past weekend. I figured if we didn’t do it then we wouldn’t get any time to enjoy it (we’ll be in WDW the 15-21).

We put ours up the night before Thanksgiving. (Do they call it Thanksgiving Eve?) :)

We put ours up over the weekend. The outside is decorated too. I think that's all we'll be doing this year since we won't be home for Christmas

The inside decorations done day after Thanksgiving, the outside and the tree put up past weekend. Shopping done about 2/3 looking forward to complete it this weekend hopefully will have a chance to wrap them next weekend. Candy’s done last weekend, hopefully can do cookies this weekend. Hoping to have time to do the Christmas cards between tonight and Friday, then I can sit back and be the scrooge I always feel like.

The house is decorated with everything except the tree. That goes up this Saturday.

Ours is up, but it's not decorated. It's tried to attack me twice, so now we nailed him to the wall.

We'll decorate this weekend.
