Is Veteran's Day busy at WDW? Any special events then that draw crowds?

Wondered if Veteran's Day or even several days around it are busy?

we were there last Veteran's Day week. It was busy during the beginning of the week, then gradually slowed down. It was Super Soap weekend (Soap Opera stars at MGM) during this time as well.

I'm sure from the weekend thru Veteran's Day will be a little busier. However, I don't think it will be awful crowd wise.

Sorry, I don't mean to be asking unnecessary questions here but because of the timing of this post I was wondering if you really are asking about Veterans Day or Memorial Day?

Sorry if I jumped to an incorrect conclusion.

Veteran's day happens to be our anniversary and the crowds have always gifted us by staying home. It has always been a great trip.

I am so sorry...I hope you realize that I only brought it up because I didn't want to see you get the wrong information. If this hadn't been Memorial Day weekend the thought never would have crossed my mind.

Don't worry about it. I didn't take offense and besides, you mentioned it very politely.

In fact I often get Labor Day, Memorial Day and Veteran's Day mixed up (not what they represent but the dates, lol).

I was looking at the calendar when I posted - just to make sure I said the right one.

You may want to check the calendar, but I think in the past Disney has had a 5k road run through Epcot.
I know DH did that a few years ago.
But can't see this would effect anything one way or another.
He is even signed up for another race in WDW June 12.
I think they use WS, probably due to it not being open to he public during race time.

Food and Wine festival is long this year and ending on Sunday the 14th (at Epcot). I expect the crowds to be slightly heavier at Epcot that weekend with people trying to get in one last taste of the festival.

We're traveling at the same time. I think it's going to be great! See you there!
