Take a shower, make sure your skin is damp, then put on one or the other. Baby oil won't last as long, but it won't smear all over your nightclothes either. Vaseline works well, but wear something you don't mind getting messed up.
The best skin moisturizer, hands down is Aquaphor. They sell it at every Walgreens and most other drug stores. It's kind of expensive, but works wonders. It's what we use on DD Abby's face when she gets dry skin because it's so good.
Neither. Drink lots more water and use
a non petroleum based moisturizer. Almond oil
is what massage therapists use. Take baths
instead of showers-showers really dry out your
skin.
My 11yo DD has extremely dry skin and creamy vaseline works best for her. It is like regular vaseline just creamed so its not as greasy and more like regular lotion. She can put it on and see improvement in the morning. We also use Aquaphor and it is great for small or irritated spots.
