is valet parking for DVC members still free at VWL if you are staying elsewhere?

if we decide to rent a car, we might swing by VWL for Whispering Canyon Cafe + do a watermice rental on Bay Lake or something.

was thinking that valet parking is so much more convenient than self parking.
but does it cost money if we're not staying at VWL?

Yes, it is no charge at VWL for DVC members. Just show they your membership care, but do not forget a tip if the service is good.

As a side note ... valet parking is complimentary at all WDW resorts if you have handicapped tags.
