is USAir going under?

My TA told me today that they are receiving advisories that ALL of USAir may be going under, not just Metrojet. I do not know where she is getting her advisories, but she was very clear that, even after they cut Metrojet, USAir may not be able to make it into the New Year. Anyone else have info on this?

I don't think so. Bookings are actually on the rise. They recently got a large cash payment from United as a result of the failed buyout attempt. They are also getting a lot of money from the Feds. I see some of the smaller carriers going under, but I think the big five + 2 (US, UAL, DL, AA, CO, MW, SW) will be OK.
