Is Universal still offering the buy 1 year get the second year free Ap deal?

I know we are heading back to Universal in late Aug 08 but we are heading to WDW in Dec and want to spend two days a Universal. So I thought I would buy an Ap. Are they still offering the buy one year get one free? Also what are the hotel discounts like and when are they released? TIA

That offer ended on September 30; they had extended it from the promotion that was supposed to end on August 31. I double checked and it has ended. I bought one for myself close to the end of September. We didn't go this year, but last year we saved about $100/night at RPR. We got weeknights for $129 and weekend nights for $149 in early June. I think they release the APH rates 3 - 6 months before your dates, but they can get lower closer to time, so keep checking.

It would still be worth it to buy an AP if you want to go for a couple days in Dec and August.
