We had purchased the subscription for Touring Plans a while ago just to use the "real wait time" tracker. It was really helpful and was almost always more accurate than the posted wait times around the parks. However, if you go into the park with that knowledge then you can just guess the actual wait times yourself after finding out tips and tricks like that. For example, at the end of the night some popular attractions will have longer posted wait times to prevent long lines forming right before closing.
I will recommend looking at their (free) historical wait time tracker that shows previous days' attraction wait times. I usually check this out the week before our trip to see what times each ride gets the busiest for each par. For example, if you're going to MK on Wednesday then you would check out the previous Wednesday's wait times and plan your day according to that.
Of course, this is not completely accurate because of so many other factors like weather, special events, etc. But it's a good gauge.
Hope this helps!
